    1) The flame may continue for 2 seconds because you have it on too high a setting-that's what mine do when the flame is too big. Try dialing the flame 'length' back a bit and see if that stops the problem. 2) Try all three and see which works best for you. Did you really expect any other...

    Discontinued Lil' Bud by Vapwood

As far as I know in the 6 months or so that LB has been around no coils have burned out, and they are not user replaceable. And if you've read anything the LB is an ALL-WOOD device, including the stem. So no, they don't get shipped with glass roasting tubes. RBT stems do fit, but I find wood...

This photo inspired me. I have two @Alan roasting tubes about the same length, 3.5", and I modded one to accept a 10mm borosilicate glass tube: I have a bunch in different colors and lengths. I cut down a piece of clear glass to about an inch and inserted into the MP end. I think you and I may...

Very cool, I hadn't thought of that, but of course now I just have to try it. Just have to remember to take the tip out of it. Thanks

Holy crap. I thought I was bad getting 8 VC's in 9 months. I can now breathe a sigh of relief that I'm "not that bad". Hah. Welcome to the forum friend. Cheers

I have an XL 3D-printed stash and dig it. I'm not out and about much, but when I am I put my XL M or Omni XL and it's great. And for $25 it's a good value too.

I make stem milk on Sundays with all my glass pieces. I just pop the glass into a pan with 1/2 & 1/2 and heat it up while the coffee is brewing. It takes about 10 minutes to melt the reclaim and mix it into the cream. Then just rinse the stems in hot soapy water. Each Sunday is a bit different...

I find a Sabbath of some kind is good for those of us who are 'creators'. Quite often I play my best or write my best material after a break. Absence does make the heart grow fonder, and occasionally it gives a new perspective that helps surmount whatever 'problems' we're working on. And good...

There's a company in Japan that made something called Luminlay that I used as inlays on my guitar necks for fret 'dots'. Sometimes under just the wrong lighting the guitars fingerboard can disappear. The glow-in-the-dark in-lays on the edge of the side of the fingerboard always popped. And they...

Haven't we all? I think one of the things that makes the LB durable is that it's both light, and well built. That helps a lot. I believe my LB with a batt is lighter than my Mi without a batt. And Mike nailed the hand feel when the rounded edges showed up on Batch 6. And the rounded edges add...

    Arizer Solo

Thanks brother. I'm going to have one for you right now. The Solo has been perfect for my days in the studio. Head back tomorrow and again Thursday. I'll figure out a way to start sharing some of the studio stuff over the weekend.

What tip do you have? SS or Ti? I've never really enjoyed having a carb on anything I use in water. If the draw restriction is tight you might get better performance by trying to improve airflow by filing grooves in your tip. From what you're saying it sounds like you're using a SS tip.

I think what we're all discovering is that the magic of the vapcap is the cap and tip. You can wrap it in glass, wood, metal, acrylic, with or without a condenser. The stem is really up to the person. And, at least in the US, I believe the cap and tip are patented and safe from copying. So we're...

@DDave Water Wand Dynavap Kit landed on my doorstep today. And DDave being who he is, modded the tip for me before it went in the mail. So it's perfect, and I'm setting it aside to give as a gift to my 3rd daughter later this month. I've already said how much I love my Water Wands, and now I...

Definitely NOT the Marlboro Man. It's still kind of shocking that there ever was one. I nominate Willie Nelson as Marijuana Man. And just to stay on topic, HA; I cannot wait for today's mail. My @DDave Water Wand kit is out for delivery. With that kit and my new Solo OG this vaporist is one...

@duff just to be clear, it looks like Mike may end up with 4 Vapwood vaporizers. The LB, LB-A, Timber, and Timber-A. The A standing for automatic. In layman's terms the Timber will look a bit like an all wood Arizer Solo while the LB looks a bit like an all wood Crafty. And the Timber is still...

Sipping on coffee with stem milk made from my @DDave Water Wands, my Solo glass stem, and my DaBox glass stem. The glass is beautiful, and I'll be humming along nicely in a few minutes. Enjoy your Sunday FCers.

Nice, I'm finding similar results with my 3.5" tapered stems I got this week. I prefer all wood for the LB, but the narrower ID the tapered stem provides improvement overall performance for me as well. Hmmm...time for some Grape Cookies me thinks.
