@cluffy: I have left mine on for 3 days at a time, and only thing I have noticed is a slight darkening of the wood around the core. Other than that, I have not seen any major problems from leaving it on too long. I would just grab a outlet timer and set it right before you wake up and go to bed...

I went all out and I think I found an auction for $25, $30 at most for a case of 100 viles, maybe more who knows, it was a while back. I only use them a few times and then toss, so nice having the luxury of not cleaning them. I tried cleaning it a few times.... never again, what a waste of time...
