VAPCAP! If you want try vaporizing, it's your best bet.

There are no dry herb vapes that are that cheap but for $30 you can get a VapCap and it's a solid device if you don't mind having to use a torch lighter. Actually, I'd recommend it as a starter.

The one I have is a little too short and the angle on it is a little too close to 90 deg. Might have JoDa make a custom.....

@Vape Dr. I thought of one other variable. What is the ambient temp where you are using your dog?

It is my understanding the UD will be fine with 3 a. Voltage is more of a factor. 1 amp should be enough and is worth trying first. I was too slow.

I think it'll work just fine as long as it's heat safe. I assume the past owner had no issues? Depending on how old it is, it could take a while to heat up but 2 hours would be plenty. The heater core could be slowly dying?

How long was the unit on before you tried? I assume you are using the SS tipped Nong? Using the glass stem, you do not need a second screen but you can use one if you like. I usually take my fist puff or two in an almost horizontal position. This will 'set' the load and keep it from falling out...

I don't think that oring seals anything. I believe it is for buffering the heat from the tip to the wooden body.

I would start out with the OG VapCap and see how you like it. They all operate about the same. The only benefit to getting the Ti Glassy or Woodie is that you can change out the bodies and use the same bowl for all body styles. Hope that came out somewhat clearly.

Oh, I know the problem but only because I heard through the grapevine. Would've been nice to hear directly. Oh well, maybe I'm just too sensitive. Just seems funny that I haven't received an update is all. In past experiences, I have been contacted directly about the issues with malfunctioning...
