Indeed @BabyFacedFinster - that bore is a little work but I have a long drill-bit. So far I've been able to manage the reclaim pretty well. It is a natural preservative to start with so the initial coating should be nice and clean - no popcorn or combustion. Kind of like seasoning your...

I will let you know this evening. Evening came early - Fantastic! This will save some herb. Same 3 draws as normal. Airflow is as good as my other '18, inverted CCD not withstanding. No notable premature heat loss. The trim was maybe 3mm.

It's never been about what people need - If DV made it, people will want it. I like the idea a lot VBTL. The small bowl will be a winner for efficiency.

Fluxer Heaters, induction heaters for Dynavap

@Cannabiker - The onboard charging is highly dependent on providing exactly 12.6V as the NiteCore would do. Anything less will definitely limit the full charge to something less. For instance, 12.35V will charge the cells to 85%. I run a digital charger for this very reason. I want to charge...

VapCap Induction Heater for Desktop and in Car Use

There is a thing known as a "Diode Drop" which is normally considered to be 0.6V when a diode is inline with one of the legs from input to output, including if it goes through an inductor. I have no idea how that simple regulator is working. There could well be an internal diode. You would...

@Fosterqc - The module can draw up to 20 watts just sitting there powered. Most high power flashlights are only 10W and they can burn you if left on without your hand as a heatsink.

@1101010100101 - My biggest peeve with Orion is the delay on incursion detection. Made modulation impossible. I also have reservations on the aggressiveness. I had 3 very diverse caps when I tried the Orion. There was no commonality in the bake. We all make these things our own. We are...

VapCap Induction Heater for Desktop and in Car Use

That is one of the oddities to the USB chargers @stark1 ... The USB contacts are directly connected to the battery via an inductor. This is a typical boost circuit; The diode will give a false reading on the meter.
