You may want to try charging it any way the charging light stopped working on mine but it does still charge just no light.

I agree that the XP is solid on the outside but the usb port seems fragile, I consider the sticker part of the build and with all the switch problems I'd say build quality could be better.

Like I said before don't let the manufacturers claim of battery life fool you, it is a best case typy of claim on low without someone sucking on it it would last a maximum of 3 hrs actual use will be much closer to 1.5/2 hrs. That being said yes the Ascent has 2 batteries and I'm sure it gets...

Honestly I don't think it would last 2 hrs 1.5 yes but not 2 which is as good or better than just about every other portable. I don't know where the 6min sessions came from but that certainly isn't the case with mine nor what Pharmacore claims again I get 10min which matches what they claim...

Not sure why you would think the battery life is very poor. I get at least 4-5 20min sessions without charging which is actually very good imo better than most portables. Don't be fooled by what the manufacturers claims the actual battery life under normal use is never as good as what they say.

It's nice that you can change the battery if you had to but changing it out on a regular basis imo is not a good idea. It's a delicate process and could render your vape useless if you aren't carefull.

I agree with every thing Sonics said in this post. Since I got my XP I never use my solo anymore and as good as the solo is I feel like I'm being wasteful if I use it. It just doesn't compare to the XP. I'd also agree, after hearing the initial reports, I don't think the Ascent will be able to...

I think if you would have done a presale you would have 10x the amount of whining/frustration/nonsense in this thred than you do now. Just look at some of the other threds where they did preorders, nothing but a mess. I think you made the right decision.

UPDATE - Good news it appears this problem is only affecting the charging light and not the actual chargeing. So I'm still abel to enjoy my XP:)

Mine was sent out with the first set of replacements not sure exactly when but I don't believe they have sent out any with the new switch yet. That is why they aren't shipping any now because they are waiting on new switches. Also I actually sprayed WD on it hours before this started happening...

Got a new problem last night. After a good days use I plug my XP in to charge and no light if I pull back on the plug a little the light will come on but won't stay on for more than a few seconds.:ugh: I have tried 2 different chargers so I don't think they are the problem and yes I turned it...

I had the same thing happen two nights ago. There is some kind of bad connection with the switch. Try tapping it and or twisting it a few times, mine started working again but it is going to need to be replaced eventually.

I don't know about that I can fit .3 in a Solo bowl so I know I can fit at least twice as much in the XP. You got to pack it down.(it hits better packed to) Blowing the capsule out inside my house sounds like a mess I've been using a tooth pic lately when indoors.

I haven't actually weighed it but I'd say about 3/4 of a gram. On another note I broke one of my capsules. Pretty sure this happened because I put a different screen in there that wasn't cut perfectly and over time, when emptying the capsule by squeezing it, the screen cut in to the poly. So...
