I couldn't decide between this one and the new Elevape. After reading the last couple of negative reviews on the Elevape, I place the order for the FM. I'm looking forward to testing this one out.

That is the auto shut off. It is normal. Unit should stay powered on for about 8-10 minutes until the auto shut off.

Vapornation is sold out of the Elevape. Anyone know of another retailer that has this in stock?

AFAIK, all of the controller boxes work like this. There is no click to turn on and the display lights and starts heating the infinity at about the 12'oclock or 1 pm position on the dial.

Our infinity's controller box only turns on when you turn the dial more than halfway, but as I understand, yours won't work at any position. Hopefully Chris doesn't bail on the project and sends you a working controller box.

My advice to you would be to jump in on the indiegogo campaign for the Inhalater 05 instead. It has upgraded electronics, stronger USB port, longer lasting battery, and battery can be swapped out on-the-fly. Yes, the battery is 18650.

I think Greg meant that a charge for 25 minutes would yield about 1 cycle or approximately 10 minutes of use on the Inh005.

Actually, you are incorrect regarding where the heat is coming from. The white you see at the bottom of the chamber is not heated. The only place being heated is the polyimide that surrounds the capsule.

Best advice i can give you if you are only considering the Vapir or the Arizer, go with the Arizer. The extreme q is a good starter vape, has been around for a while, and is well reviewed here. IMO, direct draw vapes have better quality tasty vapor. :science:

IME, once the PNP is up to temp on settings 3 and higher, you can pull hard and still get decent clouds. It does become a problem however, if one does not wait about 15-20 seconds between hits for the heater to recover.
