I thought about the same. The batteries are high quality ones from a german manufacturer but with too low capacity. I don't understand why they toke low capacity batteries for a heavy duty unit like this. Just make sure the new batterie has the same voltage and about the same or higher...

When I heat up my filled bowl without CU there is quite some good amount of vapor escaping around the bowl because the stainless steel border is attached to the heater directly and cooks the herbs anyway... Perhaps it's me and I don't get what some mean by convection, conduction and radiation...

It's the same plastic on all S&B units from crafty to volcano digit. In the case of crafty/mighty it's designed only to thin I guess.

The plastic "taste" is just the smell of the crafty/mighty hologram on new CU's when glue is fresh imo.

You're totally right, but not for the mighty. Apart from the housing breaking of course. Mighty charges in less than 2 hours if dead, runs with empty batteries and last for me half a day with heavy usage and a day if going slow (can't vaporize too much at work and when studying...) In my case...

It's just a bug from the software. Error 004 can be provoqued with empty batteries and a heavy draw over 30 seconds. The unit thinks it's not heating properly anymore and goes in error mode. at least it's the information from S&B, but your right what the manual says! Not a big deal anyway. Just...

For the most strains the default temps are fine. Long puffs can be normal depending on temp and material, but draw resistance shouldn't be to high, much better than pax. Try to not overgrind your weed. This is not a Mflb or a Pax. A fine grind can clog the upper sieve. Just use a 3 or 4 piece...

I tought the 2-part-mouthpiece was designed that way because the upper part of it can be stuck in the 6 " flexicone + directly to get the best of both worlds... The flexicone+ itself gets hotter on the outside even when the vapor is cooler when hitting without mouthpiece. Just uncomfortable...
