Yep-I think it's time to retire the Pax. I in all sincerity considered it my very best portable, but no longer. It just sits there like an unloved woman. Loved but not abused. I've tilted at many a windmill, but the Crafty suits all my quixotic ideals (for now!)

Interesting. It seems I'm using less than with the Pax because I get more extraction with less material. It's way more efficient than the Pax as far as I can tell. Hard to say compared to MFLB. I'd have to take that out of retirement to say, but that its still retired might say quite a bit.

Well I feel that even the glass fiber wick turns down the flavor after a few dabs compared to a wickless chamber. Wickless the oil has no where to go but coil and possibly puddle (which some think is s problem in itself) but it puddles with a wick to. For me it boils down to a pen that tastes...

I'm guessing you get more puffs with the oil pad because some of the medicine gets collected. Which might also explain why the medicinal effect is the same. In totality you're extracting the same amount in 2 different ways.
