Forgive my confusion but I'm thinking that the darker the ABV the better the unit is extracting medicine? Looks like the crafty is extracting more than the volcano since it's darker but not charred. What am I missing?
I'd snort bud if it worked. Nothing smells/tastes as fragrant or as seductive except possibly basil. When I start reading research papers extolling the medicinal benefits of basil I might consider switching!
I ended up with a Dr. Dabber and a Vapor Bros Eleven. Happy that both of them are much better than the microg style cheap pens. I hate those. These are stylish with well made atomizers. Again the crafty is great w concentrates but these excel in that they low temp vape in 5 seconds. The crafty...
I'm a noob w concentrates as well. I only tried shatter and it worked very well. Ultimately on the advice of @Vape Dr. ended up with a high end oil pen Vape that I prefer. Keeps the crafty clean and always ready to do what it excels at: flowers. Don't get me wrong it handles concentrates very...
Yes that is the best way I found to use concentrates for maximum flavor. Simply lay down your flower bed, place pad on top, place dab on top, place cooling chamber on top, place mouth on top, feel on top, you are on top, you are a top! :-)
Well I'm assuming as the unit heats up the dab melts into the flower bed. The flowers act as a natural liquid pad with no metalicy flavor. Nom nom nom.
I've tried the oil pad but I also tried a layer of flower with liquid pad over that with shatter on top of thst and thst was sublime. I'm going to try what @Ricchini does namely a flower bed with a dab on top no liquid pad.
Anyway, welcome to portable heaven!
Alright cool man I'm feeling more chill right about now! Thank you Crafty!
Dude it's such a trip because I've never noticed any differences and now I'm wondering if I'm an alien. Thx!
I just notice a little elevation followed by happiness, horniness, hunger and sedation---yay!!!! This is...
Great, glad to be a part of the discussion.
I only chimed in because you seemed to have questioned the science about boiling temps. Now I understand that you weren't objecting to that but rather pointing out that the boiling point needn't be hit for cannabinoids to be released. I did not know...
The vapor from each Cannabinoid has to be released so I'm guessing that even if THC starts to emit slightly before the CBD/CBN that it has nowhere to go but your lungs. That's my guess. Further studies will hopefully shed light on this.
So aside from the science I can say from my experience that weed is weed. I've never noticed any different effects between indica and sativa. Not even remotely. I do notice the difference between say 10% THC weed and 25% THC-but the only difference was in terms of needing more or less to relieve...
Here's the upshot of that paper as it relates to volatile temperatures for each known Cannabinoid:
?-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) Boiling point: 157*C / 314.6 degree Fahrenheit Properties: Euphoriant, Analgesic, Antiinflammatory, Antioxidant, Antiemetic
cannabidiol (CBD) Boiling point...
Well, since there are 60-100 cannabinoids (THC/CBD being predominate) more studies are needed to know precisely what medicinal effects follow from which compounds and at what temps these compounds work their magic. Some compounds are not activated at lower temps and can have no effect unless...
Here's what I've tried:
Lavender
Rosemary
Peppermint
Spearmint
Coffee
Tea
Every one of them tasted like shit!
It didn't ruin the chamber, they ruined my mood. In theory it sounds wonderful but in practice...I no longer practice vaping any herbs beyond the Sweet Leaf. "Alright now, won't you...
