Sorry Stu. If I recall I used the pick end through the snall space in the mouthpiece to pop it out. You know I recall thinking this was the chink in the S&B armor man. Still feel like it's not clear hiw to replace that screen in an easy and clear way!

I believe there is one in the heater chamber and one replacement for that screen. It's that screen I use also as my top screen.

Oh yea, I replaced that screen with the fine one and that made all the difference in the world. Brush or blow-done!

I replaced the Pax with the Crafty and I'm a huge fan of the Pax but it has literally sat there since I got the Crafty. I've seen no sales and it is a steep price but thus far it's the zenith of portables IMO.

I have found that to be true. If your material is moist you could just let it air out a bit or add a little rind into your jar. I've eveb used the weird packets you see in beef jerky, etc. Kept the material bone dry.
