I'd also think of it in terms of airflow. Drilled with a screen and 3mm balls is about as restricted as you are going to get if that is what you are looking for. If looking for more open airflow, screen version (+ larger 4mm balls) is prob a good move.

Most of the stems that have adjustable airflow should do the trick. Omni, Revolve, Ti MVS all good options. MVS Ti has two airflow types so that might be most versatile. But really DV and Anvil are pretty different beasts. Despite apparent similarities.

Blows the stock stem offerings in what way? I passed on the SonG in hopes that a GonG for the XL would come out, but loving the Ice mouthpiece that I ordered with my XL (full disclosure, I am a sucker for a pinched mouthpiece).

You could also tinker with ball size to get the airflow you are looking for if you think that'll be your primary bowl...

Anyone with one of Ed's XL stem able to show how it is loaded, chamber capacity etc? How are people finding it compares to other XL stem options? Certainly nice that it has a real mouthpiece look while also nicely serving as a WPA. It is a pricey one at $65 so I'm not likely to impulse purchase...

I am a pinched mouthpiece fan, along the lines of some Herborizer mouthpieces. And think they sell these in straight and bent versions (I have the bent), and they are 14mm male

I will still reach for my Flower Mill over by BCGs due to the ease of grinding (especially large quantities since you don't need to ram it down between the teeth), and the convenience of the plates for different grinds. Hopefully FlowerMill has this situation fixed and it'll be smooth sailing.

Look forward to impressions too. At a glance I'd agree with the concerns of @Shit Snacks and whoever he quoted. That's a decent amount of mass removed from the coil. And more distance than you usually see between balls and flower. But the proof is in the pudding.

If you want even more precision with the analog you can go with the ATM power supply from REFC. Which also works with Halo, Collyland and others. I quite like globes with Herbo. My fave might be the Magic Flight one. And big fan of Herborizer pinched mouthpiece piece with those.

I have been using the Herbo bowl with the Halo this week and really like that combo.
