Try engaging the battery in 2 second intervals and release, splitting the hit into 3-4 mini-sessions, makes it less harsh.

I am honestly getting great results from Duracell's and Energizer's, although the Glyphs are great. I am just using a 15 min Duracell charger. It is a pain to peel and GooGone the batteries though.

You should be fine with those, but the finishing grinder from MF seems to be a hit. You can always take a couple drags, get it dry, then dump it into your hand and pinch and roll if you want to make a powder consistancy.

I found that certain Vapes will dry you out, like the Iolite. I would try different Vapes and use hot water in your bubbler, that way you will get a little steam as well.

I use Duracell and Energizer rechargeable batteries with great success. But have never tried to use standard batteries.

I have found that leaving the lid closed gives a better tasting hit. Then open the lid and burn off the last little bit into the air, keeps you from getting that smoky taste.

when I used mine, it would often leave me with Bronchitis, whether that was from the flame/butane or the huge amount of vapor, I don't know. I would like to try the Hemp Wick to see if it was the heat source.
