Wow they updated that tube, I bet the lower splashguard helps keep your mouth dry even if you rip it like a madman! This is mine (sandblasted means it's one of the first 200 ever made! :cool:) The perc is taller, but the splashguard is right by your lips...

When you guys get the titanium coils try to use some really nice flavorful wax for the first hits, I bet that's when you'll notice a difference in taste (if there is any) I bet after the wick gets dark and used you wouldn't be able to tell if the coil was made out of pig iron :lol:

Probably more like not enough heat, I'm pretty sure if the temp light/cleaning was the issue you would have to see the temp color for it to cool down enough to turn purple. Mine can go temp light orange in the middle of a hit, but I push it and it will go back to green. And the flashing red...

Yeah I use the 5/8" OD and 1/2" ID silicone tubing as well for the Pax, but it does only fit in 18mm GonG's. For 14mm GonG (and to fit over pen vape mouthpieces like the Dabbler) I use the smaller 3/8" ID and 1/2" OD tubing, but you notice the ID of the big tubing matches the OD of the little...

Does it go to the temp color before turning purple? Maybe the mouthpiece is just not making contact (common issue) But if it goes green and then goes back to purple for more than 10s that doesn't sound like it's working properly to me, and if it made it to green first (even when it goes purple)...

I've tried both and find the Pax to be more powerful, and if you use a screen I get thicker vapor from the Pax from the same 0.1-0.15g bowl size, but I did like the taste of the solo. I hope that's how my Could tastes!

I think it's only 3mm, but sizes are relative, it feels really pretty thick because it's such a small tube. I've never thought I was going to drop it because it's basically fist sized and you can really get a grip on it.

I'm pretty sure the pinnacle logo is etched into the glass with acid, so no amount of cleaning products will affect it. The best you could do would be to etch the rest of it and have a 100% frosted tube i think

Man the Pinnacle Pro looks killer! But I bought the Pinnacle OG and was really disappointed so I probably won't go for a second round. A pinnacle watertube for $50 however, I'm all over that! :D
