i tried sideloading to app to a fire tv using adb, and got this message... Failure [INSTALL_FAILED_OLDER_SDK] adb connected fine to the fire tv's ip addy, and tried to upload the Crafty little app, but no joy. fun! :lol:

hi jcat- Gracias for your help. I used the x86 option, but it was through the browser emulator. I may try to sideload the app onto a Fire TV- the only android device (at its core) I have here. cheers

I used the 'droid emulator at Manymo.com. The emulator seems to run fine on my MBP, and I downloaded the Crafty app, but I get a parsing error when I try to open it. Boo. Edit: same thing happens when I use the emulator on an iPad.

Turns out my initial "7-8 draws" comment was "half wrong". Here's the skinny... I got around 28 long steady draws over an afternoon if I took five at a time, between cool-downs. If you let it cool-down between each draw you're not going to get 28, probobly more like half that, or less. That's...

Sorry, I was being too cute by half, and meant completely finished. Crafty gives quick flashes then dies. My draws are long, slow and steady, and I'm getting around 8-10 pulls from the Crafty before she needs recharging. If I thought I'd need more hits than that while out I'd have it charging...

Using the app, you'll be able to watch the temp change as you hit the Crafty. The Mighty would require a mirror. As soon as I get the app I want to lower the brightness (couldn't they make the default half-bright instead of full?). And c'mon, there's gotta be Storz und Bickel fans working at...

I've had my digit 5-6 years, daily use. The silver shell has a ding or two, but she's functioning 100% from what I can tell. Maybe an opening and cleaning of the internals may improve her a bit. Dunno. Is your unit still under warranty? Best of luck getting her fixed, and back into action. :)

I'll probably grab a dart cartridge when the next big sale comes along. The window on the Rev can turn into a sticky lint-magnet, and the dart seems like it would lend itself to "pocket-ability".
