Ok, I gotta chime in on the tilt deal. Sure, I think it would be nicer to have a downward tilt on my DBV, but I wouldn't sacrifice my thumb rest for it!!! :-P

Vapormonger, you can simply pull up on the heating element to get it where it was, it's only held in place by the connecting wires. 3 things: 1. don't do it while it's hot 2. have clean hands while you do it or use something clean to grip it 3. be gentle!!!! Mine is about 1/4" from the top...
