    Winegums' Woodcraft

Yes, I have plans to make it in oak, cherry and walnut. I can also stain them if desired. I'm not quite sure what you mean? You're going to have to explain it a bit more.

Come Now (To Celebrate Your Wood)

This is a Tiger Maple and Elm ABV container that I just completed.

The ABV containers and Trays are up in my Etsy Shop now. https://www.etsy.com/listing/569655847/wooden-box-with-funnel-lid https://www.etsy.com/listing/569657097/wooden-tray

    Winegums' Woodcraft

The Elm trays are now drying after having their final coat of finish applied this morning. I also spent some time on making the first of a few ABV bins. I decided against making the lid dovetailed and went for a drop in lid. Finally, I have extruded Brass tubing on hand now that will...

    Dynavap VapCap

You need a condenser or it will coat the wood and soak in. I have a bamboo stem that is getting pretty stinky because of this problem.

    Dynavap VapCap

There's slightly less draw restriction and it's a bit cooler on my lips because the vapour isn't in a thin stream. I had issues with the hot vapour burning my lips before I got my Omni and Omni XL which mix air in. I still prefer to go carbless and condenser free most of the time as it retains...

I do, but that's with my SS lined stems that can be cleaned out easily. Wood would absorb the reclaim and get stinky over time.

    Winegums' Woodcraft

I'm back from Holidays and have been working on some more general purpose vaping items, starting with Elm trays. My tubing isn't here yet but I'm hoping it will arrive this coming week.

Here’s the first Elm tray of a batch I started today.

Anyone else love the Patina on a well used cap and tip? The top tip is setup for concentrates and the bottom tip is setup for flower. I try to keep them as matched sets so that they have different patterns on them. I love my Gen 4 tips and wouldn't trade them for any other version. I've been...

    DYNAVAP Omnivap new user questions

I recommend stainless as they are easier to install and less likely to bend and take a set. The Ti CCD don’t seem to spring back into place and often deform making for a loose fit.

    Mouth irritation

Could it be that the vapes you’re using are overly hot on your mouth? All the vapes you listed have short vapour paths which could lead to burning. I had an issue with my Vapcaps burning my lips and tongue when the hot vapour blasted over them. I use glass now and it doesn’t burn anymore.

    Dynavap VapCap

Interesting, I’ve noticed that my Mighty will “cook” a load even if I don’t hit it and that the cooling unit will be significantly stickier inside. So my thought is that the goodies are vapourizing and recondensing on the nearest cool surface. Thus they wouldn’t be available for vaping unless...

Why would conduction result in the loss of actives? Wouldn’t it just vapourize what is in contact with the walls?

    Chosing the right vap

You sure about that? A Vapcap is more like a Bong hit than a Joint by far. The thick vapour that pours out, the ritual of loading a bowl then dropping it into the glass, the short vaporization time, etc. It feels all the world like a bong hit without the combustion.

    Please compare vapes

I have vapes that are hybrids of convection and conduction. My Mighty, Herbalizer, and Vapcaps more than satisfy my needs but in very different ways. The Herbalizer was my first vape and is my precision extractor. The design of the vape allows for very specific heat settings that lets me dial...

    Dynavap VapCap

I bought a tall bong from dhgate specifically for my Vapcaps. Watching the vapour stream out of the bottom end of the vape like a thick jet of ink in water is part of the enjoyment for me. However, I don’t waste it by blowing it out as a cloud. I do my best to “Ghost” all the vapour and hold it...

You might as well attach the Ti cups/nails already existing to a short stem. The issue is with thermal mass. A Vapcap tip will only hold so much thermal energy and the amount of concentrate that can be completely vapourized is small. What also needs to be considered is that the material being...

    Dynavap VapCap

That sounds like an idea worth pursuing, though in a slightly different form. I have some experimenting to do with mouth pieces when I get back home.

    Mighty fading numbers

It's a common problem. The durability of the sticker is about the same as a scratch and win ticket. Someone on the forum recommended that you tape over the sticker with clear tape to protect it. It's worked to protect mine from getting worn off.
