    The Herbalizer

Good news! Herbalizer already sent my unit back after repairing it. I'm beginning to miss it already as I use it to sample all the strains I get. Since the temperature is so consistent I can really get a feel for a strain, which decides how I will use it with my other vaporizers as well. That's...

The X rings go on the condenser. if you were to cut one and look at the profile it has four lobes in an X pattern.

Sounds like you need some saliva on the x-rings when you're installing them. Also make sure you've got the right x-ring on the right spot. They are slightly different sizes with the mouthpiece x-ring being the larger of the set.

What's in your vape right now?

I have "P" and "V" what ever that means? One is Sativa "P" and the other "V" is a Hybrid that is very similar to OG Kush. They're both unique strains that usually go to a dispensary.

    Sativa lovers

There's two versions of green crack, one is indica and the other is sativa, I've only had the sativa version. Green Crack is very energetic when vaped at high temps, and doesn't seem like a sativa at lower temps. There's a dramatic difference when I do an Herbalizer bowl on 385F vs 430F. Which...

    Winegums' Woodcraft

The customer wanted a bright silvery ring on the piece so I used SS. I'm a fan of red metals but I think the dyed pieces look better when they're solid wood. The metal accents are a bit of a distraction for me. I think I will offer some more of these dyed pieces in the future. The vivid colour...

It's figured western big leaf Maple crotch wood. It's the most compressed and stressed part of the tree, typically containing the highest figuring. I dyed it blue with aniline dye and sealed it in with a food safe oil finish since bees wax doesn't provide a lot of protection. I normally only use...

Maple is lovely to dye as long as you sand to around 600 grit. Otherwise the really pretty piece of wood you have turns into a splotchy mess. You should try it on your pieces. I use aniline dyes.

For the sake of wood porn, this is part of a custom order that I'm working on this week. All three of these are variations of stems I've made before and are each stunners in their own right. It's times like these when I want to keep what I've created, the curse being of a maker I tell you.

A customer asked for some variations on designs I've done before. They're turning out great so far and there's only one left to go.

Wow, I had no idea that the Gen 4 mystique was so great. My reason for wanting another is that I like the performance and I'm used to the mass of the tip. No need to rock the boat, especially after having used the same two tips for many months.

Dynavap VapCap ti 7 fin, 4th gen. Tip (possibly updated)

I would definitely like a Gen 4.5 Ti tip, put me down for one.

You're not crazy, use a single flame torch, heat near the bottom and you can produce massive clouds. It makes a full flower bowl look like you took a dab. The flavour is excellent and the effects hit you quite quickly in my experience. The M produces wispy hits due to the cap not being...

When I replenish my stash I'll have to make a triple and give it a whack. I've tried double vapcaps into a claisen but the difficult part is heating two at once.

    Custom CARBLESS VapCap Ti stems

@VapCap sent me a similar package of his exotic wood off cuts when I first started making stems. It was a real blessing and huge show of the kind of guy George is. I was genuinely shocked at the amount of material he sent to me, nearly a complete stranger, out of pure kindness and generosity to...

This is what I noticed with some of my early stems that weren't lined with metal. I've retired three of them due to the tip starting to wobble in the socket or fall out. This is most likely due to me only having one tip at the time and I frequently swapped it from stem to stem. I recommend not...

Ti is biologically inert, it's used in medical implants due to this property, combined with it's natural strength and low density. Anything that was scratched off the vaporizer parts would be treated like a dust particle by your body. From Wikipedia: Precautions Titanium is non-toxic even in...

@phattpiggie Posted this a little while ago, Gen 1 through Gen 4 The key differences are the air channels, O-ring retention grooves, and the CCD retention system. Then there's little things that you can't see as easily like differences in the O-ring groove diameters, diameter of the bottom...

Physics tells me I should get a Gen 5 tip to try out, but visually I love the spacing of the 7 fin generations. The Gen 5 doesn't capture the same aesthetic of an air cooling fin array as well as the 7 fins. Something about the depth of the fins and the width of the grooves? Maybe a better way...
