Yep @Siebter is spot on. First heat cycle only. Anything that smells like electronics is where I would normally stop and rethink my continued use.

Probably just vapor. Probably. Some escapes (unless you starting pulling with it inserted lol). After time the glass tube will need cleaned also. That vapor (probably) your seeing collects there over time. Do you smell smoke/electronics burn smell?

@shopdognyc I TRY to setup each piece with its own. That way I know exactly how that particular piece will work. Ie. I have a SS tip cap/combo that I KNOW not to take it even close past the click. Once I get a setup I like it normally stay that way

since you’re at Ed’s... highly recommend a 14mm glass WPA. Not only for a rig but fits nicely into a Sherlock/j-hook. Nice seeing that vapor move through the glass.
