    How many TRUE combustion-fuckers?

I never combusted tobacco, and haven't combusted cannabis in many years, except for a few times. Now I'm fucking vaping. Recently I bought a good vape, thinking it would be healthy. But after a couple months of moderate vaping, I developed a slight but regular cough. I've never had a cough...

Ovens that hold a consistent temp

Maybe. Where the THC starts to break down if you heat it too long.

    Post your decarb method here!

Is this true? I've read that cannabis will decarb naturally over time, but is six months long enough? I live in an illegal state, and bought my flower and hash in September of last year in a legal state. I've been storing it in an airtight container at room temperature. Do you think it's...

Ovens that hold a consistent temp

I've thought of getting one of those machines, but what about when it breaks? Assuming it works and doesn't over carb your cannabis. That will turn the THC into CBD. I'd rather learn to do it myself and invest that money on a good oven.

Ovens that hold a consistent temp

My oven sucks. I can't use it to reliably decarb my cannabis because the temperature fluctuates constantly. It cycles on and off every couple minutes. Tried to decarb a couple grams at 220F in the oven but the temp fluctuated between 231 and 214 F. On the stovetop, I tried to heat oil to...

Making brownies with hash and Everclear

Progress report update 02.25.23. Almost 3 days ago I put that 1g lump of sticky hash into a mason jar and poured in an inch of Everclear. Yesterday, the alcohol was finally evaporated. So I thought great, now I can decarb it. This morning I tried to heat up the cooking oil to about 230F, so...

Making brownies with hash and Everclear

Progress report. I looked at that sticky lump of hash, solid as a rock, and said no way I'm going to try to decarb it in my unreliable oven in half an hour. So I put it in a mason jar and poured in about an inch of everclear. After an hour, the 190 proof alcohol had a slight brown tint. It...

    Delicious Brownies!!!

Hey Carol, Nice to see you on here. I really love your song It's Too Late. Also read your autobiography and found it very interesting. Though I didn't like the part about that creep you met in Malibu. At least you managed to get rid of him before he could do too much damage.

Making brownies with hash and Everclear

Ok, you've got me convinced to try the oven with a small piece. But since we agree that decarbing is caused by heat, check out this video of a guy decarbing his shatter in a glass beaker placed in a pot of heated cooking oil (oil will heat to a higher temp than water without boiling).

Making brownies with hash and Everclear

My idea is to decard it with liquid, not an oven.

Making brownies with hash and Everclear

to dissolve it, then apply the heat in another way?

Making brownies with hash and Everclear

Thanks TJ, but I cannot break up this sticky lump of tar into small pieces. Since heat is what converts THCA to THC, you don't need to use an oven. I'm looking for an alternative method. Do I have the right idea with using EvercleaEverclear

Making brownies with hash and Everclear

Thanks, but I cannot decarb this wet, stick chunk of hash in an oven. It will not come apart like dry hash or flower. You cannot use a grinder. If I put the wet lump in an oven, only the outer 1 or 2 percent will be exposed to the 220F heat. So would dissolving it in a mason jar with...

Just decarbed for 1st time, what do you think?

Last night I tried decarboxing for the first time after doing some research. Ground about a gram of flower to a uniform size and spead thinly on pachment paper in an oven tray. Aimed for 220F. My oven was well preheated...

Making brownies with hash and Everclear

Another thought is to use a small amount of Everclear as a solvent to liquify the wet, sticky hash. Just a few drops, really. Then when it's liquified, pour a few ounces of olive oil into the mason jar with the liquified hash, set it in a pot with heated canola oil, and heat for 30 or 40...

Making brownies with hash and Everclear

I have some very stick, moist Lebanese hash. You can't break it up like drier hash or flower. So I thought of dissolving it in Everclear, then heating the solution in a mason jar placed in a pot of steaming water (about 200F) for about 30 minutes to decarb it. Would that work?

    Delicious Brownies!!!

I'd like to make brownies this way: First, decarb my weed. Then put the activated, decarbed flower into a mason jar, and put the jar in the freezer overnight...
