The solid valve is awesome for parties. You can throw the solid valve around like a dart to pass it in a group.. Make sure your receiver is aware of whats incoming, or you'll spend a lot of time with the valve hitting the ground, searching for the little plastic mouthpiece.

Mothership buckets + OFZ have a pretty decent amount of restriction and work really well in the MS pieces I've tried. (Eggs, beakers, minis)
