My impression is in V3, only the joint and airpath are joined into one piece, while the bucket can be switched back and forth between flat coil and barrel coil bucket options. So the V3 buckets will still be reverse compatible with the V2 joint and airpath. You should be able to purchase the V3...

It's not due to a shortage of sapphire. I think that the process for lab growing sapphire dishes/halos is time consuming and costly. D-Nail can only make 30 sapphire halos a month.
