    Phase3 Vaporizers

I experimented with that approach years ago. Using moissanite or diamond or some super exotic bead was my second idea, right after the idea of just adding a ton of beads to increase the surface area. Realistically it's not something you would even want. That many of them just sucks all the heat...

I haven't looked into that stuff in quite a while but based on D-nails pricing it would be $4000-5000 more. Around 10X the cost of the ZXXL itself. Send me an email if you're serious about that upgrade, I'm sure we could work that out

Ironically it will depend on the final handle design, The handles have always been the hardest part about this design. Keeping the ceramic housing just thick enough to attach them, without adding so much extra mass that people have to crank the temp way up to heat it. It just depends on your...

Ah okay, yeah that's single crystal silicon carbide. It's SiC so pure it can grow as a crystal. Essentially the same idea as sapphire, but with SiC. In jewelry it's called moissanite. It was first done by FadeSpace I think back in 2019.

I haven't seen SiC infused quartz, who is making that? I'd like to see that, it sounds like a project I was trying to do for a while, but I couldn't find anyone who could make what I had in mind. No worries, it's all good. I'd be bummed if my ZX stopped working too. I appreciate your patience...

It's still undergoing some testing to determine that. It might still end up with a wooden handle but I'm trying to give it some cool flare and make it a special piece. Bowl screen is still currently at 20MM. No other bead material considerations at this point, just sapphire or SiC. Thanks so...

Ah okay I see, On the part, the o ring has about 3MM clearance from the actual joint. The issue with dewar joints is that the normal glass joints were all familiar with are formed on smaller diameter tubing than the joint size themselves. For example, an 18MM glass joint is formed on 16MM...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

I’m going to work on it, but with the recent Tempest release it probably makes more sense to wait a while for this one. Even though they’re totally different a lot of people in that crowd probably aren’t going to make another major purchase for a while. That said mine should be relatively...

The new design is really sweet, you guys would dig it for sure. The other day I had this idea about revamping the product line around them but I don't want to do it if there's not a real interest in them. The ZXXL was a test for the wireless market, in the most popular size. It's been a fairly...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

Thanks so much for your patience, happy to have you here. The bottom is 13.5MM but the end of the bowl is rounded all the way off so the first contact point should be around 13.595MM which is held to a very tight tolerance and supposed to be measured and inspected before shipment. I've...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

I'm honestly not sure, it's always hard to gauge interest in this stuff. I can't say there's been a ton of people asking for them, but a lot of people bought wireless vapes from other companies so maybe I was supposed to just release them. Funny you ask though 'cause I just redesigned the...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

Yes ruby / sapphire provides a great balance which is why all of my other devices use them. I could keep them in this too, they would work fine for sure as all the other companies all use them in their 25MM setups. Keep in mind SiC comes in far more grades than zirconia. Some of them are...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

The idea is to convert over to silicon carbide [SiC] beads for this particular model. I believe that is the optimum material for this specific design. Zirconia would add a lot of insulation for this wide of a head. Yes, the lid is still threaded, but it's now a much lower profile design...

The screen positions in the top of the bowl are identical to the previous ZXXL model Step 1 @ 5MM depth Step 2 @ 10MM depth Both of the top two screen positions allow a full recess into the heater head, for conduction support from the heater at the sidewalls of the bowl (the edges of your herb)...

ZXXL “Nuclear Capable” CHANGES: PHASE3 signature slotted intakes and outlets Reduces bead clogging and provides higher airflow. Allows for 100% metal screen free operation in the heater for a 100% ceramic heat path up top. New lid design. Hot Box 360 degree bead insulation - the zirconia...

Thanks so much for supporting the Tribe! I appreciate your trust! P3 portable is definitely going to happen. The idea right now is to start with the conduction model and then work up to the hybrid. I have a great support system here, I just need to be way quicker to market and stop sitting...

I'm metaphorically in a van by the river. I'm only missing the van 😁 (I'd be stoked with an old dirt bike at this point) I love what I do, but I just know there's so much potential. I believe that it's a common concern as I still get emails from people who are skeptical because they already...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

I'm just wondering again if I should release a budget oriented metal vape as that seems to be what most people are buying. I feel like there's a general unfamiliarity with zirconia so it just gets looked over. It took me 3 years of constant research while using my glass vapes to consider...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

Genuine question, I notice that a lot of my customers still use metal vapes and very very few are truly strict glass/ceramic puritans. Would you like to see PHASE3's take on a metal design?
