Aside from being exclusively conduction that was my only real problem with the IQ. It was basically impossible to clean that area unless you sat down for 30 minutes with a box of qtips, and even then I dont think it actually got clean. Absolutely horrible design in that department.

I've had vastly different experiences with devices fixed or bought days apart. In the past few months and years ago. I know you believe they've got it all figured out but I really dont think they do still.

Every single grasshopper I've ever used works differently. The reason some are seeing green and some aren't is because of the heater variation I would assume. I've had some that leave the top layer of green on 5 and some that dont leave even a smidgen on lower settings.

Instead of adding tons of features (gimmicks) that 90% of users won't care about or use I wish they would work on developing a different heater technology. Something like the Crafty/Mighty with a mix of conduction and convection would be nice.

I don't see how that could have possibly happened unless you had it hooked to the charger as well. The hopper is an incredible device but I'm 99% sure it doesn't magically produce its own electricity.

I've put my battery in backwards before and it definitely didn't damage the unit. If I remember correctly it just turned red until I unscrewed the back end. Turned the battery around and it worked fine again.

Just wanted to point out that (as with literally every single promotion they've ever run) the early reservation that was supposed to end monday is still available on the site. They simply took down the banner telling people about it lol.

When do you think the new Hopper will start actually shipping? Estimate says April 2020. I guess no earlier than July 2021.

I canceled my charger/case order after the 3rd or 4th time the date was moved back. Had to open a case with PayPal to get them to respond and eventually refund me lol. Usually not the case though, they normally get me a refund within a day or two of asking.

This thing looks cool as hell.

After my last repair the hopper was still completely non functional. HL asked me to ship it back and they would get it fixed ASAP and returned. It was delivered to them before October and on October second they said they "didn't see it" so I sent a screenshot of the USPS tracking showing it...

Really digging the bottom plate on the V3s. RBT messed up though and made the first version so good I can't justify buying a newer one :lol:

No more than 5 or 6 seconds I would say. Not positive though I didn’t really think about it. So used to the Milaana it’s become second nature.

High or whatever the more powerful option was. Only one I ordered. Your nomad is beautiful by the way!
