Using more or less "loops" with the wire should get you the desired resistance. Loops wrapping the ceramic wick. Look up a pic for 7.4v. More wire loops. 3.7v is less loops. You can always experiment with fine tuning!

The SR71 is badass!!! Beast for sure. The SR71 seems to produce more heat than the sr74 rod when u let go of the power button. For this reason I recommend you do a few more cool down hits on the sr71. Unless you don't mind cleaning your bottom chamber often. SR71 is a power house for sure. Btw...

I believe he means the rod penetration past the Ti coil. On sr74/71 rod sticks past the ti coil. The sr74x rod barely sticks past the ti coil.

Correct. For best and consistent performance you must use AW type cells. U can use the Hercules on a HVD omicron top with the CORE. as far as portable, the persei and 8 is the winner.

You are ok with that ohm reading value. Are u using a sr74x? resistance values are not set in stone. Every rod reads slightly different with a professional sensitive meter. For example a Fluke meter. As long as your ohm readings are consistent and close to 2.2-2.4 you are fine. Keep in mind...
