@Deecee ^^^^^^^ That was my thinking as well. It's possible some of these are just straight up defective, or have bad chipsets. Those mixed in with others can muddy the results. IME this is the only thing that leads to combustion, and it will lead to that every time. The firmware takes a bad...

I was literally searching for vg use with a torch tips today. Thanks for bringing it up and the help. I'll try it out too this weekeend with my handcarved.

    Furna Vaporizer

Please report back! I've had my eye on this one since last fall, and nobody owns or talks about it. The lack of swappable batteries is a huge turnoff, but I'm curious how many ovens you get out of a charge. How many you get out of using high temps is even more relevant to me. Plus, I want to...

@ everyone - Thanks for the kind words and likes on my Nano Driptip mod! I had it out watching the rain yesterday, with my new tan chamber on temp 3, and it was so pleasant to use. I'm still on the hunt for a very compact drip tip that is as pleasant, but it's a great stopgap. It's probably very...

@gluemonkey how do you like it? I made this a week ago and have been using it since. I'm not sure the exact way this is sacrilege, but I do feel mildly guilty. I was thinking about how I wanted a more compact cooling driptip for temp4 on the go (or just outside watching the sunset)...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

The Russians just used a scoop. Wait, no that's me. I just use a scoop I made from an old plastic card. 1.5in x .75in, with the ends rounded, then folded lengthwise. Works amazing to scoop/slide small or large amounts in. To that point, I have been loving scooping different strains into a...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

The EVO is so great. Those ELBs are perfect for keeping things clean and taking little nips off of. Furthermore, I sold the EVO short for being able to get vaping from cold quickly. While priming it with max temp till green then backing off works, I find I get a great rip as soon as it turns...

    E-Nano from Epickai

That's legendary, and also par for the course with the ENANO. I think I've left mine on for months-years at a time, and it never had an issue. Easy to clean, very potent, and very efficient. Truly an EPIC vape.

3FVape sells authentic Dotmod modes/vapes as well as unbranded custom parts. This seems to be par for the course for the dotaio, where the aftermarket has created lots of custom backplates and such. I agree with this. Given that this is a new space and culture, they have adapted to our desires...

Nice thing about updating the oven is nobody has to ship their device back to get satisfaction! But early adopters should be set right if they have issues. I'd also like to add that 1 year warranty is usually the minimum in the vaporizer world, not the 90 days that is standard in the ecig world...

I've been really enjoying taking my dotleaf outside lately to vape. It's just not something I've done really, because nothing I've had felt discreet enough. At least in this case it looks like an ecig. Kind of a nice experience. I can't test your point deecee because I'm only coming from inside...

https://vgoodiez.com/collections/bb-vapes-brvnd/products/the-jet-pack-by-bb-vapes?variant=37837777273018 The longest one there? Looks cool, but is it threaded? How do you attach it? I've been using the Upline Taster as a stem lately and it's very nice. In fact, I just used the dotleaf outside...

All Glass Path without herb in your mouth

Like I said, it would be nice to test that theory, especially given this thread's thought experiment. But in my real life, I don't care THAT much about a small screen in an otherwise all glass air path. Heck. I love the dotleaf and it has all sorts of things in the airpath that, while safe...

All Glass Path without herb in your mouth

Because that's the only thing in between it and a true "all glass airpath". It's highly unnecessary, and the ELBs are really awesome.

Got the Davinci OEM IQ spacers. They are just slightly too large. Costly thing to try, but I had to try it. Should have just ordered the spacers from the EU that the other poster uses.

Discontinued The NEO by Prrl Labs

Thanks for taking the time to give such a detailed response! I didn't think about where the air goes with a traditional single hole pipe. You are correct, it will want to make a path straight from the heater to that little hole. Reminds me of the Thermavape T1, which would toast similarly. Since...

    Powerful Portable Showdown.

FW7 cracks in half at the battery compartment (because it's made of wood lol), and the Tafee has breath sense FW issues and short battery life issues and flimsy button issues. New vapes have problems. News at 11. But I'll grant you that you can freak out the Dotleaf Firmware once in a blue moon...

    Powerful Portable Showdown.

This is a fair assessment. I should say that if you want to take your chances on a new product, the dotleaf is killer. Or you could have an issue with it and need to replace the oven before it's killer. But other new vapes recommended here have their own issues. We all take our chances if we...

Anything new that would fit better than a focusvape?

Check out the DotLeaf thread here. It's an easy to use portable with replaceable 18650s. You just load it, turn it on, and rip it. There is also the Starry if you need something even less expensive.
