I only have old tops and an Iris, no new tops. As for the stainless steel piece, I've been doing as you said and installing it in the Herc before screwing the mouthpiece on. I've also tried loosening the retaining collar slightly to try and force a seal.

No idea what you mean by spring plate so here's my broken down Herc.

I did the same thing with my Swiss Perc when I got my v1 Herc. Massive plumes! Nope, everything has been fine. It was only the one time I tried to use a tank without taking the screen out. I just need to place a ticket for a replacement top.

The same thing happened to me last week when I tried using my SR-71 with one of the old tanks. At the time, I didn't know that the screen needed to be taken out of the mouthpiece in order for them to work. I had used it with the new coils without problem on both my Iris top and my double top...

I know what you meant. I've been calling it the new mouthpiece because I couldn't figure out what to technically call it but "Stainless steel top cap" works for me!

I almost never use my Bender because I don't use flower anymore but I bought the Iris simply for the reason you mentioned. Having the option to dial down your voltage definitely helps eliminate the chances of combustion. Hopefully the v2 will be ready somewhat soon. :)

I actually just had the same problem again but now I am absolutely 100% certain that it is the airflow, so I'm not worried. Just going to wait until the new mouth pieces are ready. Just the brief glimpse I got of its power is enough to make me wait in anticipation for the new piece. :p

Okay guys, update. I adjusted the mouthpiece a bit more, this time making sure to adjust the mouthpiece collar even more and leave a small space between the mouthpiece and the Hercules. I dropped a mere .1 or .2 in and hit the button... Ho...lee...fuck! :ko: I was bombarded with what seemed...

Awesome! How long do you think until they're ready to be shipped out? I'm dying to make this thing work correctly but until then, it's back to the nail and dome.

G, any estimate on when the production mouthpiece insert will be shipping out? It's becoming increasingly obvious that this is a major culprit when it comes down to poor/nonexistent hits.

I'm almost positive that my washer and mouthpiece weren't flush and that that was the problem with my hits being pretty much nonexistent. Hopefully can try again later tonight and see if I have any luck.
