What kind of trouble? I've had the experience of having to load more concentrate than I expected before a coil has become fully saturated, but once the buffer is there I just get big hits.

Thanks for the detailed response! I actually have an unused blue rod that I intend to give him because I have no use for it (I only use concentrates). I use the white rod and am excited for the upcoming black rod. Thanks again! :science: (that's my emoticon for "cheers" since I don't drink).

I just convinced a friend of mine to buy a Persei and a 7.4v Hercules SR-71. I think he intends to use it with flower more than oil at the moment. If that's the case, would you recommend using the blue rod and if so, any recommendations on technique? I want to be able to help get him up and...

Although I mentioned it in a post last night, I can't stress enough that when setting up the Nibbler XL for the first time, be sure to use one of the thicker O-rings on the mouthpiece. Otherwise, there isn't a full seal and you will just be heating/burning your oil. Don't want anyone else to...

:argh: Dude, I'm soooooo friggin' sorry to hear about this. I actually had the same problem at first when it came to air flow. I used one of the thinner O-rings on the mouthpiece at first and I got nada when I inhaled. Just switched the O-ring out for a thicker one and voila! VAPOR!

Of course my Nibbler XL arrives on the only day I've ever been out of oil. :doh: It looks beautiful though! Have to try and rectify this situation pronto.

I'm pretty sure the chrome are cheaper because they're being phased out. Could be mistaken though.

I have to agree with Ataxian. If your main reason for getting a Persei was for use with flowers, the Bender is an absolute must have. It's not discreet but the taste is unparalleled.

Eh. Semantics. Either way, it's not pertinent to the discussion of the Persei. Why not have this "discussion" in the Dabbler thread? You guys have taken up three full pages with an argument that has NOTHING to do with the Persei. It's off putting to say the least.

I love this thread and all of the info it provides but I don't think I'm alone in thinking that over the past few days, it has been nothing but constant arguing. More importantly, this current argument has absolutely nothing to do with the Persei. Can we please get back to discussing the item...
