I bought the unit new. I have used it around five times. My friends have tried it a few times. It was retailing for $300 3 years ago. I am not going to buy another one. I am happy with my digital Volcano and was happy with the Mighty before the issues.

Under Australian law it is illegal to send prohibited substances through our mail system. The only model on sale at the Expo was the V1.1. The guy I bought it from told me. He told me there was a revision coming out in a few months. This was the first model with the bad plastic taste.

Where do you get one of those? My retailer told me yesterday that they just received new stock and are currently testing them to see if they have the same defect. They will know in a couple of days. I will post the results here.

I spent a long time with it. After spending $300 I wanted it to work. Maybe I got sold a fake one. My mates have spent time with it too but gave it back as they didn't want it.

No it's impossible for me to do legally. Everyone at the Expo definitely got fleeced. It was the v1.1 product that redesigned shortly after.

Some people seem to rave about it others not so much. When I tried it in Holland it was just like you guys describe. When I got home and bought one the product was the same but didn't produce the same effects. I paid $300 for it as well. I moved on to the Mighty. Hopefully they fix those...

I have owned a digital volcano for a very long time now. It is by far the best purchase I have made in the last 10 years. If it broke or got stolen I would order another one straight away without thinking about it. Easy valve for the win!

Unfortunately for me in my line of work this would not be possible. Plus once you mention cannabis they stop replying to you.
