S&B have never offered to pay for any of my postage. Fortunately my retailer has handled everything for me and paid all postage. Why do you have to pay to get the unit fixed? That should be covered under warranty.

You will have to get used to that. The S&B portables require multiple warranty returns. I am on my fourth unit in 6 months.

I am returning my second unit as the casing has cracked so badly that it is impossible to know if you are getting a chunk of plastic in the oven or not. It's definitely a massive design flaw.
