Hey mate. The Diggers brand ISO from Bunnings is fine, it is just expensive. Jaycar sell ISO for $10 per 500ml. You will know if you have ISO that has perfume in it as soon as you smell it.

Some people on here lately have said that S&B has sent them a replacement unit and shipping label before they have sent their defective unit back.

Hey @mightyhigh Can you PLEASE let us know the username of the seller that sold you the fake unit at full price so that others can avoid being ripped off? This is the kind of information that we need in this community so that we can look after each other.

I have had the same experience with the liquid pad. I posted about problems with the taste of the liquid pad on Reddit and was told that I was liar. I was told that a simple soak in ISO will have it as good as new again. Unfortunately this is not the case.

They say they do but a guy on here a couple of weeks ago checked with them first then bought the unit but they sent him one of the older models even though their site says they are shipping the new units. I'd say triple check with Randy himself first. Also ask for the FC discount.

They are hard to clean even with ISO. Mine always end up sticky.

Most people that report these issues find out that their CU's weren't as clean as they thought. After a thorough clean they tell us that the unit is functioning like new again. Try soaking your CU in ISO for 30 mins and see if it helps.
