What do you mean by oil pen exactly? If it's a prefilled cart oil pen type of deal, a lot of those carts use PG (propylene glycol) to thin oils out. It has a distinct taste kinda plastic-y but not I guess, anyways some people are sensitive to it and their body won't like it. That might be worth...

Space Case for years, SCS maybe a year and a half. I usually remove extra stems but don't when I want to do a lot.

I never experienced flaking of any sort with my Space Case or Santa Cruz Shredder.

cannabinoids are not water soluble and trichomes have plant fats/wax covering the oils... plant fats/waxes are not water soluble either.

I generally stop and dump when the vapor becomes negligible. I'm sure with enough patience and packing I could get an extra whispy draw from my ABV but I just dump at that point.

Only issue I can think of is the inside airpath and whatever is in there being covered in condensed vapor... not sure how it would affect it, if at all.
