I have them both. The D020 is amazingly solid and feels good in the hand. Pulls are a tad harsh, but slower drags help. The 10 arm is fun to use...lots of perc action and nice even cooling without great loss of effecct. I like them both and I doubt you'd regret either one...but why not get both...

Well, that's weird. The new hydrafoot I got three weeks ago is bigger/wider than the original ones I have. (3 3/8" vs 2 1/2"). ~

The "new" regular Hydrafoot is 3 3/8" wide. The new 2.0 is at least that wide if memory serves, but is also a heavier base. ~

Saw/tried them a few weeks ago during a brief visit with SM (mentioned them at the time simply as 2.0 as I didn't want to reveal info I was asked not to). But they are great. Add just enough extra to take the edge off harsh hits and doesn't overperc. I had hoped they'd come in lower in price...

Looks like it'll need 14mm Female - 18mm Female. Usually under $10 on line. Don't know what LHS price might be since I think I have one (better check to see I guess). It would be a bummer to get your Roor and not yet have received your adapter ordered online on the other hand. ~
