    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

Lately, I've been loving me some high temp. Just the last few days I decided to kick it up. The FF2 has been my daily for at least a month now. I've only used the volcano a few times and primarily for research purposes (new Volcano "pods" and revaping some FF2 ABV). The volcano is, at least...

    Volcano

holy moly! Part of me is all "that's disgusting" and another part is all "MMMMmmmMmmm"

    Volcano

The volcano is definitely low-maintenance. It can run for years with no user intervention outside of dumping and reloading. That being said, I find that I get a nice boost in performance after a good ISO-soaking of the screens.

    Dynavap VapCap

No respect due, really. :D To be clear, I wouldn't want to change the heat-with-anything aspect of the VC. I wouldn't over-engineer this case with precise temperature control (edit: or even a built-in charger) because the VC already has that covered. You may not be a flashlight geek like me...

    Volcano

Oh, hellzyeah Baraon. I've gone the better part of a week on a fully loaded volcano chamber. :)

    Dynavap VapCap

Apologies if someone has already pitched this idea... DynaStash Power and Power ER A larger Dynastash with a heating element and 18650 battery. Seriously, this would be the most epic kit. Elegant, compact and quiet. Edit: super bonus points if the heater is activated by inserting the VC/OV

    Volcano

I concur. The only thought that comes to mind is the chamber is pretty large for a single person, but as you said, a full pack is not required. I've experimented with the new pods kit. Its cool and does work better with micro loads than the standard, but I'm not sure I want to fuss with those...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

I agree but I think we are in the minority. We must have some serious lung capacity. The only way my experience really differs from the instructional video is that I'm pulling for a lot longer than 10 seconds on my first draw to get there. Armed with this experience, I sometimes switch up my...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

I agree 100% with your points about how they handled things with a smelly device and busted gasket based on what we know from this thread. (I've had no interaction with FireFly other than automated e-mails they've sent me.) There is no question in my mind that they should have flat-out...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

You kind of nail my sentiment on the video topic here. I don't care to dissect the _instructional_ video because I know from experience that the FF2 is a rockstar. There are a dozen youtube videos of real users blowing dense clouds.

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

I don't necessarily disagree with you, but your expectations are calibrated differently based on your life experiences. You must have been lucky with other products in the past. I'm an apple fanboy, have had a stack of their laptops a foot high, 11 iphones, and three desktops in my lifetime...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

I don't think it impugns his character to state that is very likely tobacco he used for that pull. That's primarily what they've used in past videos and I wouldn't blame a person operating a business in this country to avoid filming himself doing something illegal in the eyes of the federal...

Very interested to hear more about this topic from anyone.

Crazy. Did you have any issues with odor? How heavy was your usage?

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

Sorry if this has been mentioned, I've only read about 1/3 of the posts here. Is the battery similar in height to an 18650? Do I need to dig out the spacers for my pila charger?

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

Man, I went back earlier in this thread and you guys have me looking at glass for the first time in 10 years. I've had the volcano for a long time and its been my exclusive most of the time. The thing is effective and awesome, but it (sucking on a bag) disconnects you a little bit from that...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

I caved and "pre" ordered a Ti one. They are estimating August. Not in a rush and I figure the later the batch, the more likely issues get resolved. I just got and love the FF2, but this thing is too damn cool. I rationalized that there is room for both. I'm a little concerned with vape...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

That's a really tough choice. They both have very cool designs. One thing, for sure, that the FF2 has as an advantage is you can get one right now. Based on reports, the FF2 has smoother/cooler vapor and mouthpiece. The GH has more satisfying pulls and a shorter acclimation period. The FF2...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

I jumped on the 2 for 1! I've yet to see the end of a battery. One time I tried going a whole week and then finally caved and recharged. The battery meter was reporting 3 flashes. 1-2 bowls / day, but I can kill one in 4 LSDs w/ heavy mixing. Two times I had the battery play dead. Taking...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

Yes, I'm not entirely an idiot. I'm am operating under the assumption that you put your mouthpiece in your firefly, though. While the aerodynamics of the screen are inefficient and obviously create drag, the friction is much greater in the pathway before it reaches the screen. Its so much...
