With the shape of my TM, I thought for sure the next iteration might be a 21700. Way better capacity and the vape would be more even, to me, just as pocketable. I see no downsides to using the 21700 as it's newer and higher capacity, with just a marginal size difference.

I would say yes. It's not the same care that goes into other vapes like the Nomad, Tetra P80, FW7, etc. But the TM checks all the boxes for me.
