    Discontinued ThermoVape Evolution

Yes I meant "hole" :) Thanks for the very useful info. You've given me a lot to start researching. I found a packing list for one of my TET orders and noticed that two of the Evo cores (SV/HP and LV/HP) were in fact sold as "beta" products. I also have a SV/HP T1 core (also beta) floating...

    Discontinued ThermoVape Evolution

Seeing new posts in this thread has piqued my curiosity. I own 3 Evolution "carts". I just dug them out of storage, and the first thing I realized is that I'm not really sure how they differ. When I was testing them (years ago) I made a little chart of how they performed (or failed to perform)...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

I just ordered a new (plain) Ti with the 35% discount. This makes my second Ti, to go along with my two SS units (one SS that I ordered in 4/2017 remains unused). I just HAD to have the new internals. Damn VAS...

    PAX Era by PAX Labs

I've gone through 3 pods since getting my Era. Two from Bloom Farms (generic hybrid and generic sativa), and one from Guild Extracts (Tangieland). None of them smelled very much when not in use. Even when in use they didn't smell (or taste) much like cannabis flower to me. I used them in many...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

I agree, the lid and gasket get dirty and I feel the need to clean both with ISO. I clean the gaskets of both my FF2 lids with ISO when they get too dirty for my liking. I try not to use too much and I try to wipe it off quickly, but I do use ISO. I replaced one of my FF2 lids recently due to...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

Both of my FF2s have always left a dark spot in the middle of the load (although I use ground bud not whole bud). That's why the FF2 requires as much stirring as it does.

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

I also hear the buzz. It is normal. I've combusted a few times with both of my FF2 units. @petey - the trick to avoiding combustion is to keep the temps medium to medium-high, don't "surf" the buttons, and stir frequently (I stir after every two hits).

    PAX Era by PAX Labs

I kept using one of my pods, thinking the same thing as you. Eventually the amount remaining became obvious. A clear "level" line of oil appeared, slightly above the level of the wicks.

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

I have had multiple combustion events with my FF2 units, as I'm sure others have (and will probably chime in here). I've had better luck since I lowered the temps on both units. I use one on "Medium" and one on "Medium High". When the new app came out I looked up the original temp settings and...

    Concentrates for Noobs - Q&A

Just wanted to add an update on my Pax Era experience: I bought 3 Era pods, 2 from Bloom Farms and one from Guild Extracts. I have now tried all 3 and have come to the conclusion that they're just not for me. If I take 3-4 good-sized hits I can get some "OK" effects, but nothing like a single...

    Concentrates for Noobs - Q&A

I fill the GH loosely but fully. I use temp 4. A single load will last me at least 5-6 hits, but I normally only take 1-2 at a time. I doubled-down on the dosage yesterday. Tried 9 second draws, multiple times. I felt the effects but I also felt something was "missing". Ironically I ended up...

    Concentrates for Noobs - Q&A

Hi - I'm new to this thread but not to FC or to vaping. I've only read the last 3-4 pages of this thread, so I apologize if this has been discussed before. Prior to yesterday I have had limited experience with concentrates. I took a single hit of "hash oil" sometime around '84 or '85, and...

    PAX Era by PAX Labs

I just ordered the battery today - for the (now) reduced price of $20 I felt that I had little to lose. While looking for a good source for the pods I was pleasantly surprised to learn that there are more producers now than the two that were available when the Era was launched. At least one...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

Same sleeves that I have (one tan and one black). I should point out to others considering this sleeve that your picture does not show the Hopper fully inserted in the sleeve. Looking at the picture may give the impression that the Hopper is not completely covered by the sleeve (i.e. clicker...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

I love my FF2s, but for me they cannot beat the Grasshopper for stealth. I like the FF2 because you can see (and stir) the material much more easily, and the battery lasts a lot longer, but mine never leave the house. On the other hand my Grasshoppers can go almost anywhere with me. FF2...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

I cannot overstate how much I LOVE these leather sleeves. I have a black one for my SS and a tan one for my Ti (I just remember "T"an = "T"itanium). The only con I can list is that you need to pull the GH out by the clicker. But gently squeezing the opening of the sleeve releases some of the...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

I do not have this issue. I regularly keep batteries in both of my FF2 units, even when idle for days at a time, and they do not seem to lose any charge. I rotate 4 batteries through 2 FF2 units. One battery does seem to die much more rapidly than the other 3, but I chalk this up to a dying...

    The Firefly 2 vaporizer

I am now getting better results with a slightly less-than-full bowl, not packed. I had an unusual experience lately that changed my FF2 habits. I have two units. I had been running both at High with temp boost between 5-7%. I was fairly satisfied with the results, but never amazed. A few...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

I have both a Ti and an SS and I actually just ordered another SS (10% off :)). I prefer the feel of the SS - the weight, the smoother threading of the back end... Threading the back end onto the Ti feels "gritty" compared to the SS. So far I have had no real issues with either of my Hoppers...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

I wholeheartedly second this recommendation. I have a tan one for my Ti and a black one for my SS (otherwise it can be hard to tell the two Hoppers apart). The Hoppers fit perfectly and the sleeves offer enough protection to ease my mind. Obviously for greater protection some may want a hard...
