If I understand you correctly, I have one HC with the intake hole around the midway point up the HC and that one is fine. With the HC that I'm having trouble with, the intake hole is way higher, directly under the bend in the HC. http://i.imgur.com/TwBzgx0.jpg?1

I haven't tried the spherical, I'll be interested in hearing about how you like it.

@zor , at this point it's probably mostly down to habit. I was afraid that I'd accidentally yank the wand if I didn't hold onto it, with dire consequences. Also, I like rotating the wand while I'm hitting it because the SSV seems to focus the majority of the heat in one particular spot.

I use both, and I like them both. I like that the GG is inserted into the heater cover, but it's not really hands free. You still have to keep a hand on it while you're using it, IMO. The standard is pretty good, too, and I find it a little easier to turn while you're using it than the GG. So...

Pictures added of my SSV's wandering intake hole. Has anyone seen an intake hole this high on the HC before? The second picture is of an HC with the intake hole in the proper position. http://i.imgur.com/TwBzgx0.jpg?1 http://i.imgur.com/gRyxtuo.jpg?2

same here, but this hole is way the hell up there, almost to the 90 degree bend

I was really surprised to notice there was so much variation in the placement of the air intake hole.

I bought a new standard heater cover and noticed that it wasn't getting anywhere near as hot as my previous one. I compared them, and the air hole on the new one is significantly higher than the older one. I'm pretty sure this is making a difference, since the lower air hole seems to allow...

I use the Magic Flight for dry herb and a Persei with a KISS cart for concentrates for instant on/instant off vapor on demand

Coconut oil cannabis infused vatimin d caps

I'm always skeptical about the claims that vitamins are a panacea. I think you can get most of the vitamins you need by eating properly, without supplements. But that's off topic in this forum.

Infuse it in just enough coconut oil to absorb the ground abv. It wont be eh. I dont use capsules, though, I mix mine 50/50 with melted chocolate. But capsules should work

Why not use ABV rather than decarbed herb? It might tone down the potency somewhat. Or you could reduce the herb/coconut oil ratio.

Need a nice, good value herb grinder to use with Cloud Evo vaporizer

In my experience ground herb tends to clump, so I doubt it would flow out very easily. I could be wrong.

It's a little hard to tell since theres no temperature readout, but I'd estimate around 5 minutes from cold to hot and a couple minutes or less to adjust to temp
