Life Saber (LSV) by Elev8 Vehicles

The heater cover is enclosed in heavy metal (I think it's aluminum) and it only gets hot if you really crank it up. I am conscientious about turning the heat down when I'm not using it. It returns to temp in a couple minutes. Once you've used it a couple times the size isn't a big issue, at...

Life Saber (LSV) by Elev8 Vehicles

I use them both. The heating elements are identical. Main difference is using a whip instead of an all glass vapor path. Other than that, not a lot of difference. I will say the LSV can be a little awkward to work with. It's a pretty big handheld and the aluminum can get hot if you crank it up...

Life Saber (LSV) by Elev8 Vehicles

I go back and forth between a log (HI/UD) and LSV with tiny loads in an 18mm m/m and theyre all pretty great through a bubbler. I havent looked at another vape since i got an LSV. I just don't feel the need for VAS anymore. Since I am only getting a couple hits per session, theyre all very tasty.

long or short air path, which do you prefer?

I alternate an lsv through an 18 mm m/m adapter -- short vapor path -- with a ssv whip, which is longer. I run both through a bubbler and dont notice much difference.

Edibles don't hit me at all. Suggestions?

Save your abv, grind it fine, simmer it on low heat in a pyrex container immersed in water for a couple hours in enough coconut oil to cover it. Strain it and you'll end up with cannabis coconut oil that becomes solid at room temp. Store it in your fridge, then microwave some of it with an...

    This is not true

    Volcano

You'll need the whole kit because the Easy Valve bags don't work with the solid valve. It's a different system. You might just try out the Solid for a while. Some people actually prefer it.

    Silver Surfer Vaporizer

IMO the benefits from cooling the vapor and eliminating particles will far outweigh the negligible loss of flavor

What makes you think water filtration detracts from flavor?

Life Saber (LSV) by Elev8 Vehicles

Same here. I use it dry with a Silver Surfer ground glass wand topped with an EQ elbow screen to prevent the herb from falling out

    Silver Surfer Vaporizer

I change my screens about every other session. Screens are a lot cheaper than herb and you can clean them in ISO

try slower draws at a lower temp. The d020-D is a very good match with the DBV

So what's the safest vap on the market?

AFAIK, the Volcano is the only vaporizer that has been approved for medical use anywhere.

    Ascent Vaporizer by DaVinci

I don't use them, but lots of people on here do. Try it without the spacers, you can always get them later

    Ascent Vaporizer by DaVinci

The Ascent has a long track record and despite some complaints is generally well thought of on here. One of their reps is a regular on this forum. The Loki, on the other hand, has no track record. So if you like taking risks, go for it.

    Volcano

I have a digit and I like it a lot, but functionally the Classic is just as good. $200 is a decent price if the Volcano is in good shape and isn't too old.
