    Discontinued ThermoVape Revolution for concentrates

After envying those of you fortunate enough to be able to easily purchase concentrates, I find myself in possession of two ampules of pure gold, and the ability to get more if I fall in love, courtesy of a friend who lives in SoCal. Only I've never done "oil" before. I have all sorts of TV...

    Discontinued ThermoVape

I don't know if this was a mistake, or if it was supposed to be private to previous customers (oops), or if TV just wanted to be nice for another week, but look at what I just got in an email from them, using the same promo code: Thank you for supporting small businesses and American...

OK, getting my duck fins on as we speak, and changing out the T1 core for the Evo core. I'm skeptical, but I've been surprised before.

Water boils at 212°F; anything in boiling water won't get hotter than that. Unless your T1 parts are sitting on the bottom of the pot, which can get hotter than the water itself (though I would guess not 100°F hotter, or the water would be boiling so violently that you would turn down the heat...

    Discontinued ThermoVape

I didn't know this! I have two SV Evo cores, and I wouldn't mind trying one out on hash, but I don't want to clog it up inside the oven either. I don't have access to oils, waxes, etc., nor do I run across bubble/ice hash much. As you know, the Evo doesn't have an exposed ceramic piece, just an...

    Discontinued ThermoVape

If you want to experiment in finding out where the air restriction is occurring, here are a few things you can try. You should try them with the batteries removed, and without loading the bowl. Unscrew the cap and with the mouthpiece still inserted into the cap, check what the draw is like. On...

    Discontinued ThermoVape

VV: Just a quick thought, since I don't recall your mentioning how long you hold the switch up. If you haven't already, try holding up the switch the whole time. Push the switch, count to 30 or so, and then start taking hits. Take normal full strength hits. After the first hit, which will...

    Discontinued Pax Vaporizer by Ploom

The answer to most of the questions is "both", but I completely understand why you're asking. It certainly depends on the circumstance. I will most likely be carrying the Pax in a little kit, the same way I currently carry my T1 /Evo. The kit contains a sealed container for herb, and iso and...

I was looking more closely in the catalog photos, and maybe there is a built in glass screen. Not sure though...

    Discontinued ThermoVape Evolution

When I was on the road in Amsterdam, and I smoked rather than vaped, I used to crumble up a few grams worth on a piece of paper, and then place the paper on top of a table lamp (on top of the shade, 6" or so from the top of the bulb). That would dry out the fresh weed in 10 minutes, making it...

Any thoughts yet about the "smell factor" (smell when loaded, but not yet used; smell after being used, and then put in your pocket for later; smell after cleaning it well with iso, and maybe replacing the screen). Thanks!

That holds the glass to the T1 bowl, if I understand the picture correctly. What's between the herbal load and the mouthpiece? I can't see any kind of screen. How hot does the mouthpiece get after, say, 6 or 8 big hits? I'm not a glass person... (yet) The AC supply looks great...

    Discontinued Pax Vaporizer by Ploom

It was a typo I fixed after posting, but you beat me to it. :) (I know the revo is for concentrates and the evo is for botanicals; I have a T1 and an evo).

    Discontinued Pax Vaporizer by Ploom

Take all the time you want; I'm in no hurry since I can't buy one for a month anyway. rufrothy: I wish I could get oils/waxes/etc where I live, but no such luck. Not sure about the rev, with it's side window, but the evo should be smell tight if you plug/cap the open mouthpiece. I'm...

    Discontinued Pax Vaporizer by Ploom

rufrothy: Actually, my two TVs (A T1 and an Evo) are remarkably smell free; it's one of the things I like about them. The only thing open to the outside world is the mouth end of the mouthpiece, and there are lots of little cap like items to cover or plug the mouthpiece. Not sure a cigar tube...

Slightly Medicated: Thanks for all the first hand info, about the things that matter to us, from someone that uses it as we will. And for all the great video! At home, I mostly use a Volcano, but I use a portable when I'm out, which is way more than when I'm home. I have a retired iolite...

    Discontinued ThermoVape Evolution

RagingWinds: The ptfe is softer than the delrin, and when I put a UFO in mine, it expanded it enough that it was also a VERY tight fit into the Evo core. As Pipes mentioned, once you manage to get it in, all should be well.

Pipes: I don't pack quite that much, but (as you might guess from my messages), I'm a HUGE fan of connecting the mouthpiece directly to the Evo core, while covering it with the modified delrin insulating sleeve. The problem I found with a really tightly packed load was that it required hernia...

    Discontinued ThermoVape Evolution

rufrothy: Most of us feel the Pure-Flow is really only suitable for the Rev/Dart, not so much for the T1 or Evo. It just restricts the air flow too much. The Evo setup has a UFO built into the delrin insulating sleeve, so there's no need for the Pure-Flow to block bits of herbal material. The...
