I've used fresh too, but I wanted to taste/experience the PG by itself (it's the first time I've ever done a concentrate other than hash), and I've mostly stuck to using the PG on top of spent-but-not-charred ABV. Waaahhhhh, I just want my DART! :)

I use my Evo with an extended delrin mouthpiece directly into the Evo core (no intermediate insulating sleeve) 100% of the time, and the delrin hasn't as much as deformed, let alone melted. The O-Ring has also been fine. fwiw.

My order is unshipped too, but in my case it's due to the T1 glass mouthpiece, which was still being made when I ordered. An email from TV indicated they hoped to have them delivered, and the order shipped, today.

What he said. Plus, when I last had my T1 completely apart, I suck tested each piece, to see which was the most restrictive, and on my T1 it was the bowl/heater assembly. The sleeve holes let in a little more air, and the CLEAN cap holes let in the most. YMMV

Just checking, but (1) you're not using one of the metal mouthpieces are you, and (2) you are using the delrin sleeve with the mouthpiece inserted into it, not the mouthpiece directly into the evo core, bypassing the delrin sleeve.
