Looks like both of us were right, OF. :)

Hmm. Check out this picture. Maybe they didn't screw down the core all the way, but if they did, the two O-Rings are well above the body: I figure that the mouthpiece will be sitting right on top of the bowl, and the four notches will be the vapor path from the core, then going into the...

More Oh Boy! Here's a picture of the bottom of the device. Not quite the best angle to see the functionality, but I haven't seen it posted here yet: btw, stainless steel scratches, titanium (mostly) doesn't. Titanium can also be anodized into a whole rainbow of gorgeous colors... Been...

What OF said. I'm sure a phone call (or email) to TV will get you exactly what you want. Their web site is a mess right now, and direct contact is a much better idea. I have a 6v Evo, and prefer the extended length mouthpiece, which keeps my mouth a little further away from the hot core. It...

Vexed: I just want to add that I agree you should try OF's suggestions first (they're my suggestions too, and apply 100% even if you go on to try the "power user" tricks).

As an experiment, try removing the outer Delrin insulating sleeve from the Evo, and put your mouthpiece directly into the top of the Evo cylindrical core. Don't use the Delrin insulating sleeve for this experiment. Note that you will probably get some bits of herb in your mouth, but this is just...

I couldn't get my Evo to work worth a damn either, until I just put a mouthpiece directly into the top of the core cylinder instead of via the Delrin insulating sleeve. My Evo has worked great since then. Have you tried using your Evo that way? (And if you find you prefer using the Evo that way...

Titanium is a pretty dull metal, and as long as it doesn't sacrifice performance, would be my choice rather than stainless steel. And if the bottom section is the only part that has visible metal, it will probably be "concealed" in your hand no matter what metal it is. That said, remember that...

OK, time to make some wild guesses, ask more silly questions, and make some observations. Here's a the picture of the Cera again. Click on it to make it a little bigger: Let's speculate about the mouthpiece. Interesting tiny "nipple-like" end. I wonder if this part is the actual mouthpiece...

    Discontinued ThermoVape Revolution for concentrates

I thought it was a (cut and paste) typo, where they forgot to replace "Revolution" with "Cera". Maybe it's not?... Jam asked Tim about heat transfer in the Cera thread: To which Tim replied: Nope :) other than the switch's the exterior is all ceramic which insulates the heat, this keeps more...

    Discontinued ThermoVape

Just updated my previous message, found another possible typo: Where you say "Put it in a Revolution, you'll get the best that the oil has to give." in the last sentence in the first paragraph of your "Cera Essential Oil" page on the website, are you sure you don't mean "Cera" instead of...

Just a few questions. :) Are we talking about one power section, or different size sections? I make good use of both my T1 base and my UltraLite base, in completely different circumstances. There are times when my T1 base is inappropriate. Are we talking about all of the new cores, (herb or...

You spelled Chinese wrong in your new essential oils page. (http://thermovape.com/pages/cera-essential-oil). You left out the "h". Where you say "Put it in a Revolution, you'll get the best that the oil has to give." in the last sentence in the first paragraph of your "Cera Essential Oil"...

    Discontinued Thermovape Alpha Ultralite

I travel with the UltraLite in my carry-on bag (but the PG is packed in my checked bag, and I've never needed to pack more than two ampules, 1g worth). TSA hasn't questioned it at all, and I've been through TSA security at least a dozen times with it. As packed, it's just an E-Cig, and I even...

    Discontinued Thermovape Alpha Ultralite

Absolutely true; new TV stuff supposed to be unveiled later today. (It's Nov 1st already where I am). Only thing I've tried with PG is the DART (both the 3.7v single cell and the 6v double cell versions). All my other experiences with vaping have been with herb. I got into concentrates...

    Discontinued Thermovape Alpha Ultralite

It still amazes me how many hits I get out of three drops of PG in my DART. Usually more than one day worth! Sunset: Did you ask them if they could make you a custom DART using the AVA shell and the DART inner works? This is identical to a DART except for the enscription on the shell.

    Discontinued ThermoVape Revolution for concentrates

There are two adapters for mating a T1 size power supply to a 501 thread heater. The one you show in the picture above, and what TV calls their insulated adapter. Both serve exactly the same function. The one you have is designed with a built in internal "well" which serves to help prevent...

    Discontinued ThermoVape

I think the 6v T1 is available in the original version (2 core, 30W) and the special order version (3 core, ?W). The other special order T1 that Tim mentioned is a 3.7V single center core low voltage version. I've been training myself mostly with my 6v T1 base powering a DART core with PG...

    Discontinued Thermovape Alpha Ultralite

Seems to me that you should be getting vaping 301 credentials, not 101. And you've been sharing what you've learned here for all the time I've been a member. I've been OK so far with my UltraLite and PG (exclusively), but I still suspect I should have just gotten the Ultra. The UltraLite...
