How would the hybrid not be suitable for medical vaping? Don't the digit and hybrid essentially operate the same aside from a redesigned heat exchanger and whip attachment?

I have a gauge on my press but I have learned it is not necessary. The same amount of pumps always yields the same amount of pressure. Just count your pumps.

For pressing hash the key is going slow. If the puck isn't completely heated so that the rosin can flow it blows through contaminates. And it doesn't take much pressure. Most of the rosin will flow out before you even need to register pressure on the gauge. I always stop at that point then...

I still think the 3x7+dake 10 ton press is one of the best options. And no searching for a hand pump. :)

It has less terpene flavor. Less heady. Darker. Stickier. I press hash made from trim so perhaps other hashes are different. I just did a morning dab of the hash rosin. It is very effective. Just not that tasty. I’m happy. :)

I prefer rosin pressed from flowers. Hash yields amazing though.

I press herb at 220 and hash at 180. I can’t tell any increase in quality going lower so I don’t bother. I also rarely use a filter for herb. I just prepress and squish. No complaints. :)

Automatic transmission fluid works just fine as hydraulic fluid.

That was October 2010. Wow it’s been a while since I got my Volcano. It’s still working like new. I’d say it has more then paid for itself. :)
