Actually, that is the Number 1 reason for me... I like playing around with different strains, a little here, a little there... but for those strains that I really like will find a home in the Feeder for traveling. Respect! This is helpful, Choo. It may well be the grind, even the dryness...

That was the ticket, thanks! I emailed Marc and he put me on the list, so in about a month he will open it up again. Thanks again!

Wow, I'd completely forgotten about my Captain Action doll with scuba gear. Now I even remember coloring his bald rubber head with black Magic Marker to replace the worn-off hair he had. Good times. I have one primary problem with the Feeder. Bare with me as I try to describe this. Let me...

Thanks for the reply! I guess I'll have to keep checking his website until he opens up again.

    Firewood Vaporizer

Hey all... Been lurking on these posts and, Wow, it looks like this is a great vape for my at-home and small session use. So now that I've got the VAS for the FW4, where might be the best place(s) to shop for one? I know it's a long wait for one, but, gotta start the clock at some point. I...

Yeah, the last 3/4 turn or so is kind of gritty, but if you take out the battery and screw it down it will/should be nice and smooth, so you are correct, sir Moon. Regarding the FEEDER (last post here for reference) http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/the-grasshopper.18482/page-510#post-1038129...

Thanks, both of you for helping me put 2 and 2 together... This is from the above link(s) on discharge/capacity.... It may well be the best design attribute for GHL to not allow the hopper to drain the battery past 50% just for this reason. However, this doesn't square with some reports of...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

That's helpful info, thanks... I have a total of 10 batteries for 2 hoppers, too many now that I realize that GHL isn't going anywhere... I've only only been using 5 for rotation, and haven't touched the other 5. I now intend to run those newer ones down to 3.7V and then go back to the others...

Just to weigh in here... yep, I do what @vapeOR says above in his post http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/the-grasshopper.18482/page-517#post-1040803 And also do a burn off if I want to use it right away. Well that was a fun read, Moon! Sounds like you've hit the ground running and will...

I bet they'll have Gen2 released before the leather sleeve for the one they already make.

Welcome to Owner status, Moondog! I look forward to hear that the Blue Tac has cleared the threads and that it's a nice smooth feel afterwards.

Dear Customer, Thank you for inquiring about the Stainless Steel case by Hopper Labs! This is just to let you know that we have our TOP people working on it. The BEST. We know that, like many, you have been waiting for over 18 months for this mighty jewel of a case, but we assure you that it...

Oh, Chim Chim, I miss you. Moon, nice! You're probably all giddy with anticipation :D I'm sure you have all your critical tools... mainly Blue Tac! That shit has changed the game. On the battery question... as @UnshavenFish says very clearly above in his post, whether you consider what...

Yeah that's really all it probably was; one or the other was "shorting" against the other. Easily done if all it takes is connecting the clicker to the body. In fact, that concentric ring around the clicker is an insulator. I loved that cartoon. That's what we called 'me back in my day. :myday:

A Funny Thing Happened today.... So, I have two hoppers... I just happened to be holding both hoppers today in one hand, both of them were assembled, each with a battery installed. As I'm focusing on using my free hand to move odds and ends around on the table where I was planning to grind...

Yes, Me2, I have seen this happen when I'm screwing in the battery - and it's usually when I'm being sloppy about it. For example, whilst screwing in the backend, I decide to adjust the temp dial because I think of not wanting to turn it while the battery is in there... a few or several...

OK, I have one more question... have you tried the hopper through water? I only ask because that would certainly be a way to really see what was being produced... say on T4 as a minimum. Short of this, Fly, I'd wonder if it just wasn't the right device for me.

Agree! I personally think Grease should not be mentioned. 'Tis a silly thing when we have Blue Tac and DetoxIT. You can certainly post the warranty warning, couldn't hurt. Blue Tac is perfect - there is no residue; DetoxIT can be virtually undetectable and it is non-volatile, and is not to...

This is good to know, but I see that response as a stock answer. If you used grease and indeed used it in such a way as to leave tell-tale signs of having used it, sure, they are in their rights to void a warranty. As an aside, I could point to this topic of grease going back several weeks...
