Actually, they did send an instruction before they said they would send the backend... They asked me to push the clicker down half-way and report on whether the red lights came on. I told them I had, and the lights come on some of the time, and when they do, immediately turn off. And...

Yeah, and, @sk8man121 , this is what I'd meant about not meaning to be facetious... It's like GHL is saying, don't bother us until your device stops performing. I think if it made a loud screaming noises while producing thick clouds, they'd say it was normal.

Sk8, I think some leavening is necessary to smooth out the misunderstanding... actually, if HL used those exact words "normal to get hot but not dangerous", it's disappointing that's what they'd say, when there are caveats to consider. There's input on the Fix thread, FYI, that may help to...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

Friday I sent in the Warranty Request for a new backend per my post last week... Today GHL replied that they will be sending a new backend out to me. She didn't say when, so I'm hoping it means "imminently", like this week. So far, flawless CS.

Minn, thank you for that post, it was very helpful! One question.... how much PBW should one use for, say, cleaning the MP in a small (8 oz) glass? The instructions on the bag say "empty packet" into 2-5 gallons of warm water, so I'm guessing like half-teaspoon? I have this sort of "jelly jar"...

Godamm that's a great idea! Tweezers do the job, but they are not fun to work with. A tool would be awesome! It'd have to be good grade steel to prevent bending forces against the "tines", but I just thought: What if the working end of this tool had a slightly smaller diameter than the...

    Discontinued The Grasshopper

I bought an extra MP a while ago thinking one of these days I'm gonna fuck up the screen trying to get it out. But I haven't, yet... And to your point, I feel that if you do NOT do an at least occasional tear-down of the MP for a truly thorough clean, it will become increasingly impossible to...

Wonderful, thank yee. Still quite curious now about how they track bodies. :hmm:

Maybe so, but I hate to say, again, why should I keep track of what I send them, when they have the record of shipment? I simply am not going to keep notes in this crap. They have the SN''s; they ca track it. Which brings me to: When a backend is replaced, what happens to the SN? Do they...

This has perplexed me as well. I'd always considered the Received date as when I receieved the original, because I sure as fuck am not keeping track of what THEY should know better than I do!

Thanks, @moondog and @Mr. Me2 Troubleshooting with my other Ti shows a back end issue. I can hear that the clicker is different and kind of "tinny" sounding when clicked. Glad I have the both of them!

Well Bummer. My grey Ti just took a shit. No lights, nothing. Different batteries. But if I partially depress the clicker and hold it at a mid-point, the lights go red and stay that way. I got it to work once. I'm pretty sure it's the back end. Warranty time.

Yes, I think that's correct. I like that it stays inside the glass. Since the silicon MP isn't "tight", I lightly push against it's front to ensure a sealed vapor path.

I'm pretty sure it would. Just have to get the right size obviously. Methinks on that isn't skinny but that has some cushioning to it.

Yeah, I can dig that, Moon. It's incredible how AE isn't anything like it was when home studio recording began its boom in the 80's! A bong sitting on the console doesn't quite send that hi-tech message:cheers:

I do, Chillers, I do... In fact, I'm there right now too. And I've had mine for 6 months! So I finally got this in the mail. Kudos, @Kasish ! A very well-made piece of vape-quenching glasswork! This is a classy piece of work, so, it deserves a classy backdrop. SO nice... fits perfectly...

Ohboyohboyohboy! Nice jump on the newsletter, @moondog ! As we are a "group" here, shall we consider nominating a FC Hopper Blogger? Maybe we can assemble some "topics" and have it posted en masse? It sure would make it easy... for all of us except the one we nominate LOL:lol: But I don't...

Ditto... That thing called "spellcheck", even. I ask myself, "doesn't he/she see the little red squiggly line underneath those words on the screen?" This is among the many stupefying wonders that make my brain hurt. Bio, you saying that those hoppers have been owned by two previous owners who...

Well, I am very happy to say that I've learned something today. While I'd always known (even talked about) how the hopper is useful for vaping other herbs, I'd been ignorant of the temps required for these non-cannabis herbs. I'd even been a bit perplexed over the idea of inhaling a...
