No, in general to get the most vapor you want your herb to be good and dry. If your are not already using one a good torch lighter may give you the higher temperature hits you are looking for

Went through this a while back when i was looking to make a dry sifter, the trick is to search for "wire cloth" I was able to go get some at my local Grainger so that may be a good place to take a gander, i used 100 micron for my sifter but you may want something a tad finer for mflb like mesh size
