Thanks for the detailed break-down, @LabPong. I've been really pleased with my Duo so far. It'll be interesting to see how it compares to the Peak Pro which, according to USPS, should be arriving this Friday.

It's definitely not an issue. With the current setup (Vapexhale screen and stainless "holey" insert), I can rip on it with the dial set at 8 (I usually only go to 7 or 7.5) until there's no longer any visible vapor being produced and it there's still no sign of combustion.

I received my custom LE MiniVAP yesterday; this is my second MV. It has a sleep mode timeout of 15 minutes vs the normal 10 and the new temperatures are 210°C, 220°C, 235°C, and 245°C (vs the original 180°C, 195°C, 210°C, & 225°C). It's perfect! Now I use all of the temp settings instead of...

The Vapexhale baskets are indeed a perfect fit for the TM stem. The rim does catch on the o-ring, just like with other baskets, but a bit of filing/grinding will likely fix that. I find the baskets to be a bit too deep, tho (they're over an inch deep), so I used a hacksaw to lop off the rim plus...

If you do a few hard bowls back-to-back it'll start heating up, but it stays cool longer than the end of the glass stem.

The Ditanium 14mm mouth-piece fits the TM stem really well. I put a small bit of heat-shrink tubing over the end that extends into the stem; 'makes for a snug fit and gives a good seal.

Is the latest quick core used in all models, or only the limited editions? The website shows "The latest Quick Core Technology" only on the MV Limited Editions page. I'm about to order a second MV with some custom settings and want to make sure that it has the same core as my current limited...

I use my TM with glass and don't use the cooling units; leaving only the screen in the stem. One time, after cleaning the stem and screen, I went to load the stem w/o realizing the I'd left the screen out and ended up sucking a couple of sessions worth of herb right into my lungs. :rockon:

Your best bet is to start a new thread with this question in the Ask FC section. I know there are a number of people here who have both and will likely contribute to the new thread (myself included). I use both regularly.
