The strange thing is when turned upside down with the switch thrown (to either chamber) there's no resin underneath at all. There are however grooves cut into the plastic where it's rubbed against the main body of the Haze. When cleaning it some grey powder came off so I'm thinking it's just...
I asked the same question a week or so back and got no replies. I had to contact Haze about an order I placed yesterday and I asked about the switch problem but was just told to keep cleaning it and it should be fine. The problem is you can't get under the swing switch to clean it. They're aware...
Sounds like a matter of time before mine goes too. Has Haze ever mentioned anything we can do to prevent this from happening or what's causing it (I expect it's resin buildup but who knows?). Hope they get it sorted before V3.
Would it work well with the Haze cans? Good to hear your shipping options are fixed but because it's OOS I can't get a shipping estimate. Hoping it's reasonable. I need to fill out my @Ratchett collection. :leaf:
I've noticed the switch on mine is getting stiff too. Was it resin buildup underneath that caused it to fail? I clean mine daily but that's one area it's impossible to get at.
Wasn't sure where to post this. It's the opposite of cheap that's for sure at $24,420.00. Here's a link to the story http://www.theprovince.com/health/Ross+Rebagliati+promotes+glassware+awaits+medicinal/11154440/story.html
So am I which is why this forum rocks. There's lots of YouTube videos of the D020 but none that I can find showing it with the Haze. I think there's some pics of them together out there somewhere. I chose it because it's solid and simple and it appears to be a favourite of a lot of other Hazers...
Can't thank you enough for this Slow Draw. It explains the bits of herb in the mouthpiece slot when I went to clean it today. Glad I only did one session this way. For some reason the mouthpiece adaptor stays in the D020 when I try to lift it out. I think it gets moist from the bubbler causing...
The 2 adaptors for My Haze arrived safe and sound last night Ratchett. Fits perfectly and what a difference hitting the Haze with the D020 bubbler makes vs. the Haze alone. The whip I ordered hasn't arrived yet but it should be a nice setup paired with your adaptor and the Haze. Thanks for...
Question for those pairing their Haze with the D020 bubbler (and thanks again to everyone for guiding me through this world. Special thanks to Ratchett and his silicone adaptor). I notice in some videos after hitting the bubbler folks lift the Haze from the bubbler so they can clear the bubbler...
The bonus was there was no charge for shipping and the total was under $20. Not sure if it will get flagged by Canada Customs for tax and duty but at these prices I'll gladly pay it.
Thanks Scott. The FC-187 looks good but after much reading I'm going to try the D-020 everyone here seems so high on (I think the video in another post sold me on it). Seems like a good starting point in the world of glass. Have been in touch with Ratchett and good to go. Can't wait to try my...
Well I've got my Haze rocking nicely thanks to all the advice garnered here since joining. I'm getting such big hits off this thing (herb in cans at level 3-4) I'm only able to take 4 or 5 second hits without my lungs exploding so thought I'd maybe try adding a bong or bubbler to cool things...
I didn't realise you could get through the oven air path with a pipe cleaner to the main air path. Just tried it. Brilliant!
No problem Bangir and welcome. I'm new here too and until I joined FC I was spinning my wheels trying to figure out this whole vaping phenomenon. I've never timed it but...
From what I've read if you email Haze the serial number of your Haze they'll tell you what version it is. Strange that your not getting much vapor with the cans? That's actually all I use now. I load about half way and tamp it down before firing up the Haze on level 3. After the lights stop...
Thanks guys. I'll just leave it out. I emailed Haze this morning but even if they offer to replace it I'll pass. I've become pretty attached to this thing.
Used my Haze the other night and the next morning when pulling the glass mouthpiece out using the brush a small rubber O ring came out with it (stuck to the mouthpiece about 1/3 of the way down)? Not sure where the O ring came from but it doesn't seem to affect performance. I'll check with Haze...
