No. The finshed FW4 has like 3 coats of tung oil which is a penetrating oil. Even unfinished walnut is not going to warp from a little surface moisture. That said, there are electronics inside so you probably don't want to see if it can float. ;) Nothing to say you can't rub a little beeswax...
