Yep, I had similar issues and thought my top was messed up till I tightened them down just a hair, them everything works fine again. It only takes them being screwed out a tiny tiny bit and it can interfere with performance

I always seem to somehow get the top side of my screen filled with oil, it's almost never the chamber side that gets clogged... not sure if its vapor condensation or if I'm pulling oil up through it, or if it gloms over into the upper mouthpiece while laying on it's side, but I often am scraping...

Mine buzzes in the same fashion as well. Only when button is not pressed. My v4 top makes a slightly quieter version of the same buzz when you press the button :p It's like a beehive in here

The herc rods are VERY strongly built, I'm sure it could handle quite a bit more if you wanted to push it. If you do the math for fully charged batteries on the 8 mech mod (8.4v) that would be 33W for the 74x rod, so you could definitely take it further....
