Customer service/relations -- How important is it when you're purchasing a vape?

I know this is a really old thread. When I searched this forum for post titles with the word customer; This is the only thread that came up. I am fairly new to vaping; but I'm happy with my first vape a Crafty. Now I'm researching for a second vape; want to consider "Customer Service" near the...

I have read this entire thread and I don't recall any service bulletin being discussed. I don't think anyone has disassembled a recently manufactured unit to see if any changes have been made. It makes sense that S&B has some kind of ongoing QA program. My first unit lasted 17 months with 41...

I like the name Crafty Vaper! I know that S&B has good service; but my two years warranty will be up in 6 months. Because my usage is light any failure will likely happen after that. I just want that time frame to be as long as possible. The fact that you have had 4 of the little beasts in two...

    quitting tobacco + cannabis

I smoked two packs of cigs a day and quit cold turkey in my early 30s. Took 3 months to stop reaching into my shirt pocket for the phantom pack. A very nasty and unhealthy habit but of course legal. I started occasionally smoking weed at age 70; first mixed with tobacco in a cigarillo and then...

    Efficient Temperature Vaping - Methods

I'm sorry but the question and answers should be reworded for clarity. I have a Crafty that is considered a good multi-session vape except for battery life. My best practice is to vape a small bowl with 5-6 milligrams of flowers. On days I play pinochle I pack a bowl with 12-14 milligrams and...

Age of the FC Community plus a lot of nostalgia

I may now be the oldest member at 74 next month. But I just vaped .075gm. with my crafty an hour ago and all is good.

Last unassembled factory unit discussed had push on tabs to connect the battery to the logic board. I figure that repetitive vibration would not be good for those tabs or maybe even solder joints. It also saves a bit on battery use. edit: I did leave the leds on but minimum brightness setting.

Mr.Me2 thanks for the suggestion. The gh is on my reading list after the ff2, but the crafty is truly meeting my vaping needs. I am worried about long term reliability though. That is why I turned all vibration off on the crafty and am being diligent about cleaning and charging regimens. I may...

Thanks to all you nice folks who welcome me. Stark1, my usage, while not legal in my state is driven by both medicinal (arthritis aches and pains) reasons and also recreational reasons. I don't usually drink any form of alcohol, but the MJ gives me a nice buzz equivalent to a couple or a few...

I've read about the screens, but I won't fix what isn't broken. Using the pads and loving the results. No pulling apart and no bowl scratches; use a pick to get the pad out of the bowl. Clean occasionally with ISO 99% and rinse in warm water. I would not use a pad with a full bowl; but I can...

Hi all, I'm turning 74 next month. I discovered weed the year I turned 70. Smoked it at first for two years. Bought a Crafty from S&B in July 2015. It failed (orange, red lights) in December 2016 with 41 hours use. While it was being replaced under warranty I read this whole thread and some...
