Agreed on most of this. To me, the FW4 excels in flavor. If you start low, the GH can provide a couple intensely flavored hits but FW4 wins for overall flavor.

I soak them, then rinse them well, then let them drip dry for a while, then wipe them off. I'm not at all concerned about fumes or any related danger.

I soak mine every week or so for just a few minutes and they clean very easily (yes, I know, some think it's a bad idea...haven't seen any issues with the capsule for my FW3 either). At some point, my happy little method may come crashing down but so far, so good.
